Midterm Exam Schedules | Please be informed that the Midterm Examinations for the Second Semester, Academic Year 2025–2026 will be conducted from March 16-20, 2026 by the respective departments and instructors/professors. However, due to the latest announcement by the Malacañang that March 20 is a regular non-working holiday (Proclamation No. 1189, s. 2026) in observance of Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan), all examinations scheduled on the said date will be accommodated on March 23, 2026.

Regular classes shall resume on March 24, 2026.

All students are advised to check the official examination timetable and coordinate with their instructors for specific arrangements, and examination guidelines.

Students are reminded to come on time and bring the necessary materials for the examination.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | We are very happy to announce that 138 are now Licensed Criminologists!

The VSU Tolosa celebrates this achievement as the campus attained an 82.14% institutional passing rate in the February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE), significantly higher than the 66.00% national passing rate. Congratulations to our newly licensed criminologists and to the entire Visayas State University Tolosa community for this outstanding milestone!

In alignment with the recent directives issued by the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines directing all government agencies and instrumentalities to adopt energy conservation protocols (Memorandum Circular No. 114), and pursuant to CHED AO No. 1, s. 2026, the Visayas State University reaffirms its commitment to actively participate in the nationwide effort to conserve energy and promote sustainability, particularly during this challenging period marked by ongoing crises in the Middle East region that affect global energy supply.

To contribute to the national effort while ensuring the continuity of university operations, the VSU Tolosa will adopt the 4-Day work-week arrangement. Campus transactions for all clients will be conducted Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, starting Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately and remain in force until revised, lifted, or revoked by the proper authorities.

Together, let us conserve energy.

𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 | At around 7:30 AM today, February 28, Dr. Sachiyo Soga and her undergraduate student, Hana Takahashi, from Nagoya City University, Japan, have finally arrived and were greeted by the DTE family with warm smiles at the DZR Airport, Tacloban City.

This officially marks the beginning of the VSU-NCU Cultural and Study Tour 2026.
