SUBJECT: Continuation of Class Suspension and Implementation of Work-from-Home / Live Online Sessions for August 20, 2026
DATE: August 19, 2026

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 131 from Malacañang and the official announcement issued by the City Government of Trece Martires, please be guided by the following directives regarding academic operations for tomorrow, August 20, 2026:

Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes: All face-to-face classes remain suspended across all academic programs.

Faculty Work-from-Home & Live Online Sessions: All academic personnel are permitted to work from home and are directed to conduct live online sessions following their respective Individual Faculty Schedules (IFS).

Documentation Requirement: Faculty members shall likewise accomplish all necessary documentation relative to the conduct of their online classes and academic deliverables.

Student Class Attendance: Students are advised to attend their designated live online sessions strictly based on their official Certificate of Registration (COR).

Mandatory Online Attendance & Survey: Students are reminded to accomplish the official online attendance and survey form for every class session.

Monitoring & Administrative Support: Deans and Program Heads are instructed to actively monitor online class implementation and render immediate assistance to faculty and students as needed.

All members of the academic community are urged to stay safely at home, remain vigilant, and keep monitoring for subsequent official announcements.

Please be informed that face-to-face classes are officially suspended tomorrow, Monday, August 17, 2026, in accordance with the official announcement and directive issued by the Local Government Unit of Trece Martires City, led by City Mayor Gemma Lubigan.

To ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of our students, ALL CLASSES WILL AUTOMATICALLY SHIFT TO SYNCHRONOUS / ONLINE LEARNING MODALITY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY.

📌 FOR STUDENTS & FACULTY:
• Strictly follow the established institutional guidelines and policies on online classes, particularly Memorandum Order No. 36, s. 2026 and the Institutional Guidelines and Policies for the Conduct and Monitoring of Online Classes.
• Students are advised to regularly check their learning portals, class groups, and Google Classrooms for announcements, instructional materials, and class requirements.
• Faculty members are reminded to ensure the proper conduct and monitoring of their online classes.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES & SHIFT TO ONLINE LEARNING

Please be informed that face-to-face classes this afternoon, August 13, 2026 (Thursday), are officially suspended in accordance with the announcement issued by City Mayor Gemma Lubigan.

💻 ONLINE / ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES WILL PROCEED STARTING AT 2:00 PM TODAY.

To ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of our students and faculty, all classes will shift to the asynchronous/online learning modality.

📌 Students are advised to:
• Check their respective learning portals, class groups, and Google Classrooms starting at 2:00 PM.
• Monitor announcements and instructions from their instructors.
• Access and accomplish the learning materials and activities provided by their respective faculty members.

All faculty members and students are reminded to strictly observe Memorandum Order No. 36, s. 2026 and the Institutional Guidelines and Policies for the Conduct and Monitoring of Online Classes.

📢 ADVISORY | WORK AND CLASS SUSPENSION

In accordance with Joint Memorandum No. 03, s. 2026 and the advisories issued by the Provincial Government of Cavite and the Local Government of Trece Martires City, all classes at all levels and work for all administrators, faculty, and staff of Trece Martires City College are suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

This suspension is due to the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Typhoon Maymay, with the safety and well-being of the entire TMCC community as our highest priority.

We encourage everyone to:

Attention, TMCCians! 💚

As we prepare for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027, please be guided by the schedules and procedures for the Release of Certificate of Registration (COR) and ID Picture Taking.

📄 RELEASE OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION (COR)
Old regular students are advised to claim their COR on their designated date, time, and room as indicated in the posted schedule.

New students who have not yet claimed their COR may proceed to Window 1 of the Office of the Registrar.

📸 ID PICTURE TAKING

Students who will have their ID picture taken are reminded to:
Scan the QR Code and accomplish the Google Form beforehand.

1. Present your Certificate of Registration (COR).
2. Wear the prescribed daily school uniform.
3. Proceed to 203 for ID picture taking.

Students are requested to strictly follow the assigned schedules and requirements to ensure a smooth, orderly, and efficient process.
