On March 24, 2026, sfaculty members and staff of Cavite State University โ Trece Martires City Campus gathered for a meaningful and knowledge-driven seminar focused on research excellence, innovation, and intellectual property awareness. The program opened with inspiring messages from Prof. Noel A. Sedigo, Campus Administrator, setting the tone for a day of learning and collaboration.
The seminar featured insightful sessions from distinguished speakers, including Ms. Rochelle Malabayabas, Faculty of CvSU-Carmona and RAISE IPTBM Project Staff, who discussed Intellectual Property Awareness; Mr. Rhuzel Leinster Dean J. Julian, Project Technical Assistant IV, who presented TECHComm Muna! Technology Commercialization Pathways; Engr. Lino II M. Alano, Project Technical Assistant IV, who explained Technology Transfer Continuum: From Lab to Market; Mr. Gener Cueno, ATBI Project Staff, who shared TechYourAgri Business to the next level with CvSU ATBI; Dr. Rowena R. Noceda, RAISE ATBI Project Leader, who introduced Hatch and Match your Business Idea; Ms. Gierone Lianni A. Reyes, OVPRIE Staff, who presented STRIDE 2032; and Dr. Lloyd O. Balinado, OIC - Director of the Knowledge Management Center, who guided participants through Writing a Publishable Manuscript.
This seminar aimed to enhance the capacity of faculty members and staff in producing publishable research outputs and understanding the fundamentals of intellectual property protection, thereby improving research quality, visibility, and responsible management of knowledge assets. It also highlighted CAFETalks under the RAISE Program as a support mechanism for innovation auditing, technology commercialization, and incubation opportunities.
