Ang Social Work ay hindi lamang isang propesyonโ€”ito ay isang layunin, isang paninindigan, at isang pangakong maglingkod sa mga nangangailangan.

Kilalanin si Janah Mae P. Cauilan, isang 3rd Year BS Social Work student mula sa University of Cagayan Valley. Pinili niya ang Social Work dahil naniniwala siyang ang tunay na pagbabago ay nagsisimula sa malasakit, pagbibigay-lakas, at pagtindig para sa mga taong madalas hindi naririnig ang boses.

Bilang lider at tagapaglingkod, mas lalo niyang napatunayan na ang pamumuno ay hindi nasusukat sa posisyon, kundi sa kakayahang maglingkod nang may kababaang-loob, integridad, at malasakit. Ang bawat karanasan ay lalong nagpatibay sa kanyang pangarap na maging isang Registered Social Worker na magbibigay ng pag-asa at pangmatagalang pagbabago sa buhay ng mga indibidwal, pamilya, at komunidad.

Maraming salamat sa pagbabahagi ng iyong inspirasyong kwento, Janah Mae. Nawaโ€™y patuloy kang maging ilaw ng pag-asa at huwaran ng makabuluhang pamumuno at paglilingkod. ๐Ÿ’š

Among the research studies conducted within the College of Social Work, one study was chosen to represent the college for the Institutional Award, where one outstanding study from each college was recognized.

The awarded study,โ€œTracer Study of Social Work Graduates at the University of Cagayan Valley," was conducted by the researchers: Shane Patrick B. Madduma, Mary Hazel R. Manuel, Joreb A. Gannaban, Jessa R. Pascua, and Ivan T. Narag.
