TESDA, CSU ANDREWS COMMENCES CGE NC II TRAINING INDUCTION PROGRAM

The Training Induction Program for Caregiving (Elderly) NC II was successfully held at the 4th Floor TVET Room, marking the official commencement of the trainees' journey toward acquiring essential caregiving skills and competencies.

The program formally opened with an inspiring welcome and opening remarks delivered by Campus Executive Officer Mr. Terence Alfred Roberto A. Tejada, MBA, who emphasized the importance of quality skills training and the vital role of caregivers in today's society.

This was followed by the message of TESDA Director General and Secretary Mr. Jose "Kiko" Benitez, highlighting TESDA's commitment to empowering Filipinos through accessible and industry-relevant technical vocational education and training programs.

A significant part of the ceremony was the Induction of Trainees, led by the Provincial Director of Cagayan, Mr. Genaro Ronald Ibay, represented by the Supervising TESD Specialist, Mr. Giovanni Ventura, who encouraged the trainees to uphold professionalism, dedication, and excellence throughout their training.

The trainees also received an encouraging message from their trainer, Mrs. Rizalyn I. Besa, who shared valuable insights on the responsibilities, challenges, and rewarding opportunities in the caregiving profession.

The program concluded with the closing remarks of Campus TVET Coordinator Dr. Elaine M. Avila, who expressed her appreciation to all guests, trainers, and trainees while encouraging the participants to remain committed to learning and developing the competencies needed to become skilled and compassionate caregivers.

The induction program served as a meaningful beginning for the trainees as they embark on their Caregiving (Elderly) NC II training, preparing them to provide quality care and support to the elderly with competence, compassion, and professionalism.
