TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN โ John Raisen Toribio and Danzen Paul Rico of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) โ Criminology Department have secured their spots in the Semi-Final Round of the 2nd ARC National Criminology Quiz Bee Competition 2026, following the elimination round held on October 8, 2026.
Out of 171 participating schools nationwide, 112 have qualified for the Semi-Final Round, scheduled for October 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM onwards. The competition will bring together qualifying institutions to test their knowledge, competence, and mastery of various criminology-related disciplines as they vie for the national title.
Toribio and Rico's advancement highlights their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence as they represent the University and its Criminology Department on the national stage. Their achievement also reflects the importance of rigorous preparation, teamwork, and continuous learning in the pursuit of excellence in criminology.
The delegates are coached by Atty. Orlyne Trinidad and Sir Jhon Pagulayan, with the invaluable guidance and support of the USLT Criminology faculty. Their collective efforts demonstrate the University's commitment to nurturing competent, knowledgeable, and professionally prepared future criminologists.
Joining the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao in the list of qualified teams are Apayao State College and Saint Ferdinand College Cabagan. These institutions will also proceed to the Semi-Final Round, representing their respective academic communities in the pursuit of the championship.
As the competition draws closer, Toribio and Rico carry the pride of the Louisian community, bringing with them the knowledge, preparation, and support of their coaches and faculty. Their qualification marks another opportunity for the University to showcase the capabilities of its Criminology students in a national academic competition.
