On May 29, 2026, Consul & Head of Post Li Xiaoyan of Chinese Consulate in Laoag met with faculty and students from the Tuguegarao University of Saint Louis in Cagayan, who were about to embark on a study tour to Kunming, Yunnan.

Li encouraged them to make the most of this valuable opportunity to explore a real, multi-dimensional, and vibrant China, to experience first-hand the achievements of Chinese modernization, and to share what they see and learn in Yunnan with the people back in the Philippines. Li also briefed the group on the economic and social development of Yunnan Province, as well as the cityscape, cultural highlights, and historical anecdotes of City.

Nearly 70 faculty members and students from the Tuguegarao University of Saint Louis will travel to , China in June for a two-week study program at Yunnan Open University.

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) emerged as the lone top performing school nationwide, recording an 81.29% passing rate in the March 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination(CELE).

Highlighting this achievement, USLT has produced 113 newly registered civil engineers.

Congratulations to the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering for this feat!

USLT, HINIRANG BILANG TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL SA APRIL 2026 CELE

Hinirang bilang Top Performing School sa buong bansa ang University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) sa lumabas na resulta ng April 2026 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination (CELE).

Ito ay matapos makuha ng USLT ang 81.29% rate sa nasabing pagsusulit kung saan 113 sa mga Civil Engineering Graduates nito ang pumasa sa licensure examination.

Mula sa nasabing bilang 87.40% sa mga kumuha ng pagsusulit mula sa USLT ay first time takers.

Ang USLT ay isa sa mga malalaking unibersidad sa lalawigan ng Cagayan na lumilinya sa national topnotchers lalo na sa Engineering, Accountancy, at iba pa. (Kane Manaoat)

USLT soars in 2026 HE Higher Education Ranking: 35th Worldwide, No. 1 in the Philippines

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) has made a remarkable leap in the 2026 HE Higher Education Ranking, rising from 88th to 35th in the world in just one year, while retaining its No. 1 position in the Philippines.

This year, a total of 507 universities and colleges worldwide participated in the ranking, including 33 higher education institutions from the Philippines, further highlighting the significance of USLT’s achievement on both global and national stages.

The HE Higher Education Ranking is a prestigious global ranking system that evaluates institutions based on key indicators such as teaching quality, research output, internationalization, innovation, and community engagement—serving as a benchmark for excellence in higher education worldwide.
