The Red Cross Youth Council of Cagayan State University โ Carig Campus successfully conducted its 3-Day Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC), Basic First Aid (BFA), and Basic Life Support (BLS) Lecture-Demonstration on July 7โ9, equipping student volunteers with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to respond effectively during emergencies and serve their communities with competence and compassion.
More than mastering life-saving techniques, this training marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to preparedness, compassion, and humanitarian service. Every lesson learned, every skill practiced, and every scenario encountered became another step toward becoming someone who can make a difference when every second counts. โฑ๏ธ
As aspiring responders and future healthcare professionals, may every participant carry the knowledge and values gained throughout the training, remembering that todayโs preparation may become tomorrowโs chance to save a life.
