USL Community Extension Services is the implementing arm of the university in terms of constructive and relevant social activities of its students, teachers, personnel, alumni, parents, and administration. heories or memorize facts in school. Theories should be placed in to practice. Students to be educated for life, therefore, must learn by doing, experiencing, and experimenting. Louisian education acquiesces to the fact that only life can teach life. USL believes that community involvement is a basic and all pervasive aspect of college or university education. This can be made possible if students go out of the four walls of the classrooms and get involved with community life where there, they not only observe how theories learned in school subsist in real life, but also put these theories into practice themselves. Hence, the USL Community Extension Services Center was organized. Extension Services is the implementing arm of USL in terms of constructive and relevant social activities of its students, teachers, personnel, alumni, parents, and administration. It envisions to develop socially aware, sensitive and responsive individuals belonging to all sectors of the Louisian Community through extension and community involvement activities. Furthermore, it is the over–all coordinating body of the various activities that are initiated and participated in by the different sectors of the Louisian Community.
