Matagumpay na isinagawa ngayong Agosto 3, 2026 ang Student Leadership Capacity Building cm Workshop na dinaluhan ng mga opisyal ng Campus Student Council at iba't ibang College Student Councils.

Layunin ng gawain na higit pang paunlarin ang kanilang kakayahan sa pamumuno, mahusay na pamamahala, at responsableng paglilingkod sa kapwa mag-aaral.

Nagbigay ng makabuluhang talakayan si Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, CESB Chair, bilang resource speaker, na nagbahagi ng mahahalagang kaalaman at inspirasyon upang maging mga lider na may kahusayan sa paglilingkod.

Nawa'y magsilbing gabay ang mga natutuhan sa workshop upang patuloy na makapaglingkod ang ating mga student leaders nang may puso, pananagutan, at dedikasyon para sa kapakanan ng buong pamayanang pang-akademiko.

𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲–𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Cagayan State University–Carig Campus officially launched its ASEAN Month Celebration on August 3, 2026, at the Red Eagle Gymnasium with the theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together.”

The celebration commenced with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the Invocation, the CSU Hymn, Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, and the ASEAN Hymn, creating a solemn yet festive atmosphere that highlighted the shared values of unity and collaboration.

Dr. Michael B. Lavadia, CHSS ISO Focal Person, led the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas and the Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno, reaffirming the campus community's commitment to patriotism, integrity, and public service.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Jomel B. Manuel, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), encouraged everyone to embody the spirit of ASEAN, saying, “Let us embrace the spirit of One Vision, One Identity, One Community, and remember that our diversity is not what separates us, but what makes us stronger together.”

The rationale of the ASEAN Month Celebration was presented by Dr. Jennifer B. Ibañez, Campus Director for IPRM. She emphasized the significance of the celebration, stating, “May this celebration inspire us to embrace unity in diversity and continue working together toward a peaceful and prosperous future.”

Representing Engr. Roger P. Rumpon, CEO, Dr. Mac Giovanni Lagundi, Campus Director for Administration, highlighted the message of the ASEAN Hymn, particularly the line, “We dare to dream; we care to share, for it's the way of ASEAN,” underscoring the values of shared aspirations, cooperation, and regional solidarity.

Meanwhile, the message of Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, OIC-University President, was delivered by Dr. Emer T. Quezon, Campus Director for Research, Development, and Extension. In his message, Dr. Ibañez described ASEAN Month as “a fitting opportunity to reflect on our shared history, common aspirations, and collective future as one regional community.”

He further emphasized the significance of this year's theme, stating, “‘Navigating Our Future, Together’ reminds us that while our countries differ in culture, language, traditions, and histories, we share common goals and responsibilities. It calls upon every ASEAN member to work together in addressing emerging challenges, embracing innovation, strengthening regional cooperation, and ensuring sustainable and inclusive development for all.”

Adding color and energy to the celebration, members of the CHSS Student Council performed an ASEAN-inspired Unity Dance.

To further promote appreciation of ASEAN's cultural heritage, the Campus Student Council also established an ASEAN-inspired photo booth, providing students, faculty, staff, and visitors with an interactive space to celebrate the occasion and express their support for regional unity.

The ASEAN Month Celebration serves as a reminder of Cagayan State University–Carig Campus' commitment to strengthening internationalization efforts, fostering cultural understanding, and nurturing globally competitive citizens who value unity, diversity, and regional cooperation.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Cagayan State University–Carig Campus honored two outstanding alumni with incentive awards in recognition of their exceptional achievements in their respective licensure examinations.

Engr. Ria Linda Nedic received an incentive award for her hard work, dedication, and exemplary performance after earning Top 7 in the July 2026 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination.

Likewise, John Carlo Mabatan represented by his mother was recognized and awarded an incentive after securing Top 2 in the May 2026 Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (SPLE) – Secondary Level.

Congratulations to our outstanding achievers for bringing pride, honor, and distinction to Cagayan State University–Carig Campus. Your remarkable accomplishments serve as an inspiration to the entire Red Eagle community.
