In unity with the University's celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, the SACE Council, alongside the CECA Office and fellow student organizations, stepped into the heart of Brgy. Agugaddan, Peรฑablanca last October 16, 2026 for the annual IP Immersion!
Our student leaders stepped out of the classroom and into the community, engaging directly with our Indigenous Peoples to promote cultural appreciation, inclusivity, and deep-seated solidarity. As official representatives, our council officers carried the voice and passion of the Louisian student community straight to the core of the community.
This initiative directly supports our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically driving action toward:
โข ๐ SDG 4: Quality Education โ Fostering transformative student formation, cultural awareness, and real-world, immersive learning.
โข ๐ค SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities โ Promoting social inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and honoring the invaluable dignity and voice of our Indigenous Peoples.
โข ๐๏ธ SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals โ Strengthening collaborative efforts between student councils, university offices, and local communities to achieve sustainable growth.
