𝗖𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The CSU - Andrews Campus Student Council (CSC) has been recognized as the 2nd Most Outstanding Student Organization (Major Category) for AY 2025–2026 in the university-wide search for most outstanding campus student council. This distinction reflects a year of leadership guided by purpose, strengthened by collaboration, and grounded in initiatives that remained impactful, relevant, and responsive to the needs of the studentry.

Through the years, the council has continued to grow into a body that not only represents the students, but stands with them in every step of the journey. Each term builds on the last, carrying forward lessons, strengthening systems, and deepening its commitment to inclusive and student-centered leadership. Guided by the mantra “Kasama ka,” this recognition also serves as a reminder that leadership is not defined by position alone, but by the purpose it carries and the integrity with which it is practiced. To lead is to stand with others, and to serve is to act with sincerity, accountability, and responsibility in every step taken—with or without recognition.

This recognition is a reflection of our shared commitment to serve, lead, and create impact within the CSU community. We offer this achievement to every CSUan who continues to inspire our purpose and strengthen our call for inclusive and meaningful leadership.

From all of us, thank you for being part of this journey.

The 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙐𝙥: 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 takes the stage today, March 19, 2026 at the CSU Andrews Student Center. Students will showcase their ability to think fast, speak with purpose, and transform ideas into powerful messages.

This event empowers young voices to tackle real-world issues, sharpen communication skills, and inspire change proving that a single voice, when used with purpose, can make a lasting impact.

Leadership lives in every woman—whether she steers communities, nurtures families, pioneers new paths, or strengthens bonds across our society. It isn’t merely taught—it takes root and flourishes when women are emboldened to bring their unique gifts, perspectives, and strength to every space they occupy.

Progress isn’t a solitary pursuit—it’s built together, through collaboration, mutual support, and the power of shared purpose.

This National Women’s Month, the CSU Andrews - Campus Student Council honors all women—from leaders who blaze trails like our ancestral Babaylans, to every individual who shapes our world through their daily acts of care, courage, and commitment.

The Babaylans—revered women of our past who balanced spiritual stewardship with pragmatic governance—remind us that leadership comes in countless forms. Today, we draw from their legacy to build a tomorrow grounded in equal opportunity, respect for every person’s worth, and shared accountability for our nation’s growth.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with women and act as allies in advancing dignity, equitable representation, and impactful pathways for all to thrive and contribute.

Let us weave Babaylan wisdom into how we see and celebrate leadership in every woman around us.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗦 𝗖𝗬𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗥

The CSU-Andrews Campus Student Council successfully conducted “Safe Ka Ba? Internet Security” seminar last February 27 at the Claude Andrews Convention Center.

Attended by the student officers of the college student councils and minor organizations, the seminar aimed to inform the students of cybersecurity threats and instill digital responsibility.

The event’s resource speaker, Mr. Jan Merced of Globe Telecom, highlighted how cybersecurity affects both our digital safety and mental well-being. The speaker discussed cyber laws, ways to avoid cyberbullying, and the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) today. An open forum allowed participants to ask questions and further deepen the discussion.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗦-𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗜 𝗡𝗛𝗦

CSU - Andrews Campus Student Council successfully conducted 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁: 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 last February 19, 2026 at Gosi National High School as part of its extension advocacy.

Facilitated by Mr. Ariel Melad, the session introduced Grade 11 academic strand students to fundamental statistical concepts in a simple and engaging manner. The discussion addressed common challenges in understanding abstract data by connecting lessons to real-life business and management situations.

Through practical examples, participants learned how statistics supports informed and data-driven decision-making. By the end of the seminar, students gained confidence in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data while developing a more positive outlook toward quantitative subjects.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗠 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞

The Accounthink workshop was successfully conducted to introduce Grade 11 ABM students to the fundamental principles of accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements, last February 9, 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of basic accounting concepts while developing their analytical and critical thinking skills in real-life scenarios.

The resource speaker, Mr. Heud Marrion Urbina, CPA, MBA discussed the basic foundation in recording, interpreting, and analyzing simple financial transactions, enhancing the participants' confidence and competence in handling accounting processes accurately and efficiently.

The activity was implemented by the Advocacies, Outreach, and Extension Officers, headed by Senator Konstantito Dimla, Congresswoman Aliyah Saki Escobar with their members.
