On October 5, the College of Information and Computing Sciences came together to celebrate Teachersโ Dayโa meaningful occasion filled with appreciation, laughter, and shared moments honoring our dedicated faculty members and educators.
The celebration began with words from our College Dean, Dr. Charmie S. Calvo, whose message highlighted the value of educators and their continued commitment to guiding students. This was followed by special messages from the Minor Organization Presidents, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the faculty members who continue to support and inspire the CICS community.
Adding to the celebration, student organizations across the collegeโITS, ACE, ARC, SALIS, and ISTYCSโalso took part in expressing their appreciation to our educators. Through their messages and gestures, they recognized the patience, dedication, and effort that our faculty members bring into their work every day.
Beyond the heartfelt messages, the celebration was filled with interactive activities, laughter, and memorable moments shared between students and faculty. These simple experiences made the occasion more personal and gave everyone the chance to celebrate together outside the usual classroom setting.
