For 14 remarkable years, Dean Generino P. Siddayao served with dedication, integrity, and purpose, leaving a lasting mark on both the College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) and Cagayan State University. Through years of growth, innovation, and transformation, his leadership helped strengthen the institution and inspire generations.

Known not only for his years of service but also for the unmistakable “rock-and-roll” energy he brought wherever he went, Dean Gener proved that professionalism and personality could go hand in hand. His confidence, charisma, and signature swag made him a memorable presence and a respected leader within the university community.

As this chapter comes to a close, his legacy lives on through the people he inspired, the values he upheld, and the institution he helped shape. His contributions will continue to resonate far beyond his years of service.

The Red Eagle Gymnasium came alive with warmth, love, and deep appreciation on May 25th, 2026, as the College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) organized a heartfelt evening dedicated to honoring the families of the graduating Batch of 2026.

The program was a beautiful tribute to the families who served as steady anchors throughout our students' academic journeys, celebrating both their milestones and the undying support behind them. Sincere expressions of appreciation deeply touched the parents and guardians, filling the venue with proud smiles, joyful tears, and unforgettable moments of shared success.

Every hardship comes to an end, and every sacrifice eventually pays off. All the sleepless nights, stressful deadlines, breakdowns, and challenges were worth it because today marks the success of your perseverance and dedication.

As you step into another chapter of your life, may you continue to chase your dreams, embrace new opportunities, and carry with you the lessons and memories you gained throughout your journey.

The Parents’ Night of the graduating CICS students will be held at the CSU Carig Red Eagle Gymnasium on May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The event will serve as a meaningful celebration of hard work, dedication, and shared success as students and parents come together to recognize the sacrifices and support that made this milestone possible.

The gathering will stand as a reminder that every achievement carries stories of perseverance, encouragement, and commitment. As the graduates move closer to a new chapter, the occasion will become a memorable tribute to the people who stood beside them throughout the journey.

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 𝑾𝑯𝑶'𝑺 𝑺𝑴𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮! Prof. Roderick M. Masirag, BSIT Program Coordinator, just posted the official list of qualified incoming freshmen for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program for AY 2026–2027 ~ EEEEEEEEEEEY!

All incoming freshmen who underwent the three-week enlistment process were ranked according to the admission policy of the College. Considering the absorptive capacity of the BSIT program, only 280 students were qualified for enrollment.
