These awards did not simply mark winners in categories, but moments where effort, character, and impact quietly stood out.

And finally, in a moment where excellence took center stage, the most awaited moment arrived. Crowns were gently placed upon those who best reflected intellect, presence, and leadership in its most defined form.

The stage hyped up as recognition of awards were presented, followed by the awarding of ITO Fest 2026 winners.

ITO Fest 2026 was never meant to stop at competition alone.

As the afternoon transitioned, the atmosphere transformed into a stage of poise and presence with the much-awaited 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐈𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔!

The program formally began with the National Anthem and Prayer, followed by inspiring messages from Asst. Prof. Annabel Janoras on behalf of Campus Director, Edwin G. Malabuyoc, as well as our Program chair, Prof. Ryan P. Villalon—reminding everyone that technology is not only about innovation, but also about direction, leadership, and identity.

The spotlight soon belonged to the candidates as they conquered the stage during the Grand Production Number, carrying themselves with undeniable confidence. Through the School Uniform Competition, IT Attire Competition, and Formal Wear & Evening Gown Competition, each candidate went beyond style as they embodied the empowered, intelligent, and future-driven spirit of modern IT students.

The Question and Answer Portion turned into a defining moment, where authenticity, clarity, and conviction defined true excellence.

In that defining moment, they didn’t just claim titles, they built their victory through every step and every moment of preparation.

PART 1 | It didn’t just begin, it made an impact. ⚡

ITO Fest 2026 Day 1 and Day 2, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-6, opened with a moment of unity and pride through a solemn prayer and the singing of the National Anthem through AVP. The atmosphere was set with meaningful messages from Campus Director Edwin G. Malabuyoc, followed by warm opening remarks from Dr. Jonathan A. Marquez and our Program Chair, Mr. Ryan P. Villalon. They remind us that technology is not just innovation, but purpose in action.

The morning unfolded with controlled energy as CTRL CREW set the morning mood. Transitioning to the Capstone Exhibit, stood as a testament to the brilliance of BSIT students. Alongside this, the competitive spirit surged through activities such as the Tech Quiz, Typing Speed, and HackSprint, where techies from different year levels battled for their pride and proof of their growing expertise.

Afterward, the afternoon turned into a battlefield of strategy and adrenaline with the Mobile Legends Tournament played.

At the same time, the gymnasium roared to life as both men’s and women’s volleyball teams went head-to-head in electrifying matches, where no point came easy, and no team backed down without a fight.

As Day 2 arrived, the intensity refused to slow down. From the first whistle blown on the court, the morning activities opened with pure intense energy as the Basketball Tournament started. Defenses collided with force, and players pushed beyond hunger to prove who could dominate under pressure.

At the same time, the Finding Error & Fixing Bugs competition became a battlefield of logic and precision, where participants traced hidden flaws, and decoded easy to complex errors.

Meanwhile, HackSprint Pitching turned into a tight exchange of prototypes and presentations, where each team stood by their build and tried to show its real-world potential beyond the concept stage.

From innovation to competition, from intellect to intensity? Yes, it's an ITO Fest 2026. ❤️ ✨

ITO Fest 2026 Day 1 and Day 2, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-6, opened with a moment of unity and pride through a solemn prayer and the singing of the National Anthem through AVP. The atmosphere was set with meaningful messages from Campus Director Edwin G. Malabuyoc, followed by warm opening remarks from Dr. Jonathan A. Marquez and our Program Chair, Mr. Ryan P. Villalon. They remind us that technology is not just innovation, but purpose in action.

The morning unfolded with controlled energy as CTRL CREW set the morning mood. Transitioning to the Capstone Exhibit, stood as a testament to the brilliance of BSIT students. Alongside this, the competitive spirit surged through activities such as the Tech Quiz, Typing Speed, and HackSprint, where techies from different year levels battled for their pride and proof of their growing expertise.

Afterward, the afternoon turned into a battlefield of strategy and adrenaline with the Mobile Legends Tournament played.

At the same time, the gymnasium roared to life as both men’s and women’s volleyball teams went head-to-head in electrifying matches, where no point came easy, and no team backed down without a fight.

As Day 2 arrived, the intensity refused to slow down. From the first whistle blown on the court, the morning activities opened with pure intense energy as the Basketball Tournament started. Defenses collided with force, and players pushed beyond hunger to prove who could dominate under pressure.

At the same time, the Finding Error & Fixing Bugs competition became a battlefield of logic and precision, where participants traced hidden flaws, and decoded easy to complex errors.

Meanwhile, HackSprint Pitching turned into a tight exchange of prototypes and presentations, where each team stood by their build and tried to show its real-world potential beyond the concept stage.
