UCU yields 100% MLE passing rate
Urdaneta City University celebrates the victory of its newly licensed midwives.
This year’s examinees from the College of Health Sciences garnered a 100% passing rate (first takers) in the November 2021 Midwife Licensure Examination (MLE), besting its 71% passing rate for first-timers in 2019.
The University had a huge leap in garnering an institutional rating of 83.33% in this year’s exam compared to 62.5% in 2019.
UCU celebrates with its newest topnotcher in the person of Almera T. Rivera, who secured eighth place by earning an 88.30% passing rate.
Rivera joins with her fellow UCUian midwives who made the cut, including Mary Joyce E. Alfonso, RM, Joyce Q. Alvarado, RM; Janelle Melaine A. Baybayan, RM; Christine D. Biagtan, RM; Regie Mae M. Dionaldo, RM; Daniella Ashley Lorenzo, RM; Jessa M. Mirador, RM; Nicole Danielle P. Mallari, RM; and Chabelita E. Zacarias, RM.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 908 out of 1,774 passed the board exam, resulting in a 51% overall national performance.
