Our 𝗕𝗦 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟭 students recently took part in a comprehensive 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 at 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙪𝙜 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 (𝙏𝙁𝙃), conducted by the experts from Tayug BFP.

Safety and preparedness are at the heart of patient care. We are incredibly proud of our first-year students for their active participation and dedication to learning these life-saving protocols during their clinical practicum (CP).

This outstanding achievement reflects a 100% passing rate, an 88.9% institutional passing rate, and a 42.42% national passing rate, highlighting your dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence in the profession.

Today, we honor your success as you receive your garlands and certificates—simple yet meaningful symbols of perseverance, sacrifice, and achievement.

Urdaneta City University is one in celebration with the College of Health Sciences - Midwifery Department for the remarkable achievement of its passers in the 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗘𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 (𝟴) 𝗨𝗖𝗨𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 successfully made it on the list, obtaining a 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, and an 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟴𝟴.𝟴𝟵%, far exceeding the 42.42% National passing rate.

𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆: 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔, 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔

The second day did not simply begin—it rose with purpose. It opened as a bold reminder that 𝒎𝒊𝒅𝒘𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉, 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒘𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. From the very first moment, the room echoed with leadership, inspiration, and the shared mission of every BSM student to serve with empowered hands and nurturing hearts.

The celebration was formally opened by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙔𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙤,𝙍𝙈 𝘽𝙎𝙈 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙, , whose warm and grounding message set the foundation for a day rooted in excellence and dedication. This was followed by the empowering words of 𝙈𝙨. 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙤𝙣, 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 , who reminded students that leadership begins with courage and service.

The energy was elevated further by the lively and inspiring message by 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙅𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙚, 𝙇𝙋𝙏, 𝘿𝙄𝙏, 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡, whose words ignited resilience and renewed the determination of every future midwife to keep moving forward despite challenges.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦: 𝘗𝘶𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵: 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯𝘴.

Today, 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 18, 2025, marked a meaningful milestone for the Association of Midwifery Students (AMS), together with the Florence Nightingale Club (FNC), as we successfully conducted our outreach program at Barangay Camanang, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.

Guided by the theme “𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙩: 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙨,” this activity highlighted our commitment to compassionate, holistic, and community-centered healthcare.

Our elders are the foundation of our community, and being able to provide them with essential health kits—along with a simple gift pouch as a token of our love, and grocery items generously provided by the BSN students—was truly a rewarding experience. Seeing their smiles and listening to their stories reminded us why we chose the path of healthcare: to serve, to care, and to make a difference.

This mission would not have been possible without the guidance and dedication of our leaders, as well as the collective efforts of the students and faculty of the 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑩𝑺𝑵) and 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒘𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒚 (𝑩𝑺𝑴) programs. This outreach activity also reflected the strong spirit of unity and collaboration within the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔—truly one family working together in service of the community.

Our sincerest gratitude to our Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Dr. Alyssa Ashley R. Diego; Program Head of BSN, Mr. Roniel Aquino; Acting Program Head (BSM), Ms. Regine Chris Yadao; and Association of Midwifery Students Adviser, Prof. Annalisa Telles, for their unwavering support and guidance.

We also acknowledge the Association of Midwifery Students President, Ms. Hazel Siapno, together with the dedicated AMS officers, and the active participation of the BSM student block mayors, whose cooperation and commitment greatly contributed to the success of this activity.

𝙒𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙪𝙣—𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠. 🏃‍♀️

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery students and faculty actively participated in 𝙐𝘾𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙍𝙐𝙉 𝙎-3 on December 18, 2025, conducted under the theme “𝙍𝙪𝙣 𝙖𝙨 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙐𝘾𝙐 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.”

The activity served as a platform for unity, visibility, and collective strength, highlighting the growing presence of the Midwifery program within the university. Through the joint participation of students and faculty, the event reflected collaboration, school pride, and a shared commitment to community building.

The Midwifery identity is no longer emerging—it is present, recognized, and moving forward.

Out of 34 organizations, the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐀𝐌𝐒) secured the 3𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 and claimed the 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. This wasn’t luck. This was discipline, sacrifice, and raw determination on full display.

To our unstoppable Kumadronas — the sleepless nights, bruised bodies, and endless rehearsals forged a performance that shook the stage. You didn’t ask for attention — you demanded it.

To our mentors and pillars, especially our 𝐀𝐌𝐒 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬, your guidance, support, and wisdom sharpened our craft and strengthened our resolve.
