BREAKING NEWS| ME Students Win Regional Championship, Advance to National Competition

PSU-Urdaneta Mechanical Engineering students Mark Mervin Peralta and Jarred Jeff Tañedo won the regional championship for this year's PSME Students National Quiz Contest - Regional Level, which was virtually conducted today, July 16.

With their undeniable wit, Pangasinan State University ranked first (1st) out of 21 participating universities in the entire Luzon and was one of the top four (4) participating institutions in the entire country, out of 38 participating universities.

Peralta and Tañedo successfully secured a spot for the national level competition, and will represent PSU in the PSME National Quiz Contest - National Level on July 24. The competition will be streamed live on the PSME National page.

EECO was enacted by the virtue of BOR Resolution No. 34 series of 2022 and through Republic Act No. 11285, known as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act, an act institutionalizing energy efficiency and conservation, enhancing the efficient use of energy, and granting incentives to energy efficiency and conservation projects. It is also designed to ensure the effective implementation of ISO 50001 or equivalent energy management systems, to ensure that the target energy efficiency and conservation program of the university is achieved.
