Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta proudly celebrates another milestone as it earns 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 among schools with 30 or more examinees and at least 85% passing percentage in the 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. With an 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟖𝟔.𝟔𝟕%, PSU Urdaneta stands among the participating schools, colleges, and universities recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board of Electrical Engineering. The Certificate of Recognition was awarded on October 10, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Representing PSU Urdaneta during the awarding ceremony was 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐒. 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, Chairperson of the Electrical Engineering Department, together with EE faculty members 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏. 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐚 and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. Mga minamahal naming mga g**o, kailanma'y hindi matatawaran ang inyong dedikasyon, sakripisyo, at walang pag-aalinlangang paglilingkod sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral. Kayo ay haligi ng ating lipunan at ang bawat pagpapagal na inyong iniaalay ay siyang humuhubog sa mga magiging lider ng kinabukasan.

Bilang Pangulo ng Pamantasan, nais kong ipabatid sa inyo ang aking taos-pusong pasasalamat. Kaisa ninyo ang lahat, patuloy naming kayong sasamahan, at lubos naming kayong ipinagmamalaki. Minor and Major Subjects, including specializations and professional courses, will be held on October 6 and 9, 2026, while General Education (GE) Subjects will be held on October 7 and 8, 2026.

We proudly celebrate two national milestones in the September 2026 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE) — Top 4 Performing School Nationwide with an 81.69% passing rate (58 out of 71 passers) and Top 8 Board Topnotcher Engr. John Paul Bacani De Guzman with 92.25%.

This is no coincidence. PSU-Urdaneta has consistently produced topnotchers and top-performing results over the years — and this year, we proved it again. We are not just producing engineers. We are producing the best engineers.

PSU is and will always be the Home of Topnotchers.

De Guzman’s performance places him among the country’s highest-performing examinees in the September 2026 CELE, while the campus’ Top 4 standing highlights the strong performance of its Civil Engineering graduates in the national licensure examination.

For 𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, the result speaks of the University’s responsibility to ensure that its academic programs prepare students not only to earn their degrees, but to meet the standards of their professions and serve society.

Meanwhile, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐄. 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐨, Campus Executive Director of the UC Campus, credited the sustained efforts of the faculty, students and academic community in preparing future civil engineers for the demands of the profession.

The campus’ Top 4 standing and De Guzman’s national ranking highlight how its Civil Engineering graduates have translated their academic preparation into the knowledge and professional competence required in practice.
