PLV-SHIELD is more than a student organization.

Beyond the walls of the university, we step forward to serve, respond, and make a difference where help is needed.

From volunteering during typhoons and assisting in relief efforts to repacking and distributing essential goods, participating in community extension activities, and extending a helping hand to those in need—we put our knowledge, skills, and training into action.

Because what we learn is not meant to stay within the four corners of a classroom.

We bring it beyond the university.
We bring it to the community.
We use it to serve.

LEPTOSPIROSIS AWARENESS

Pinapaalalahanan ng Department of Health (DOH) ang publiko na alamin ang mga sintonamas at mga paraan kung paano makakaiwas sa sakit na leptospirosis, lalo na dahil sa panganib na dulot ng patuloy na malawakang pag-ulan at pagbaha. Kung nakalusong sa baha at makaranas ng anumang sintomas ng leptospirosis, agad na magtungo sa pinakamalapit na health center para sa tamang gabay, pagsusuri, at lunas.
