CELEBRATING DIFFERENCES, EMBRACING UNITY: GRADE 11 OLLCIANS’ CULTURAL EXPO 2026! 🎎🍜

In celebration of United Nations Day 2026, the Grade 11 OLLCians proudly showcased the rich cultures, vibrant histories, colorful traditions, and delectable cuisines of different countries through an exciting and meaningful Cultural Expo!

This activity aimed to celebrate our differences and embrace the beauty of cultural diversity, reminding everyone that every nation has its own unique identity, traditions, and stories worth sharing. Through this experience, students gained a deeper appreciation of different cultures while promoting mutual respect, understanding, and unity among people across the globe.

Anchored on the theme, “Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations That Delivers for All,” the Cultural Expo highlighted the importance of working together despite our differences to build a more peaceful, inclusive, and harmonious world.

Different cultures, unique stories, one united world! Congratulations to our Grade 11 OLLCians for making this celebration a meaningful tribute to cultural diversity and global unity!

FUTURE-READY OLLCIANS! | TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT NCAE 2026!

The Grade 10 OLLCians took the Technical Assessment in preparation for the actual CB-NCAE scheduled this SY 2026-2027. This is an initial step towards discovering their strengths , interest, and future career opportunities .

Through this assessment, our learners gain valuable insights that can help guide their academic choices and prepare them for their Senior High School journey and beyond.

OLLC INSTITUTIONAL MASS: A CELEBRATION OF FAITH AND UNITY🙏

Our Lady of Lourdes College (OLLC) held its Institutional Mass today, bringing together the school community in prayer, faith, and thanksgiving. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Michael Bryle Boado and attended by Directress Dr. Adelia C. Demetillo, High School Principal Dr. Michael A. Figueroa, Assitant Principal Mrs. Arlene B. Cenal, faculty members, and Grade 11 students.

This sacred celebration served as an opportunity for the OLLC community to strengthen their faith, foster unity, and reflect on the importance of love, humility, and service.

May we continue to walk together in faith and uphold the core values of Truth, Commitment, and Excellence in everything we do. 💙

EMPOWERING STUDENT LEADERSHIP | VALAPSA SSC OFFICERS SEMINAR

The Junior High School and Senior High School Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers of Our Lady of Lourdes College (OLLC) attended the Valenzuela Association of Private School Administrators (VALAPSA) SSC Officers Seminar held last October 10,2026.

The seminar provided student leaders with a Self-Assessment and Reflection Guide and a Student Leadership Habit Assessment, helping them evaluate their leadership practices, reflect on their strengths, and identify areas for personal growth and improvement.

Through this meaningful learning experience, OLLC student leaders continue to develop the skills, values, and sense of responsibility needed to become effective, compassionate, and service-oriented leaders.

A victorious start for the OLLC Girls’ Volleyball Team as they secure their first win in the Inter-School Academic and Athletic League (ISAAL) 2026! Through determination, teamwork, and perseverance, our Blue Sharks showcased their fighting spirit on the court.

OLLC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS CONDUCT TQC ON ENHANCING SUBJECT AND PEDAGOGICAL EX*****ON

In its continuing commitment to quality education and professional growth, the Senior High School teachers of Our Lady of Lourdes College (OLLC) conducted a Teacher Quality Circle (TQC) focused on “Enhancing Subject and Pedagogical Execution.”

The session was led by Ms. Zuzette Anne Francisco, who shared valuable insights and strategies to strengthen subject mastery, enhance teaching approaches, and improve classroom instruction.

Through collaborative learning and the exchange of best practices, OLLC continues to empower its educators to provide meaningful, engaging, and effective learning experiences for every OLLCian.

A Taste of Creativity: Grade 9 Appetizer-Making Activity! 🥘🍛

Learning becomes more exciting when knowledge meets hands-on experience! Our Grade 9 OLLCians showcased their culinary creativity during their TLE Laboratory Activity on Appetizer Making.

From preparing ingredients to arranging their creations, students applied their knowledge of food preparation, proper hygiene, and attractive food presentation. The activity also strengthened their teamwork, resourcefulness, and practical culinary skills.

🎬🌍 SAMAKA CINE: Watching Films, Understanding the World!

The Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Kasaysayan (SAMAKA), the official school club for Social Science, conducted SAMAKA Cine as part of Our Lady of Lourdes College’s celebration of United Nations Month 2026.

Through this meaningful activity, OLLCians watched films that encourage reflection on global issues, international cooperation, peace, and the importance of building a better world for everyone. The activity also highlights this year’s United Nations theme: “Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations That Delivers for All.”

More than just watching movies, SAMAKA Cine provided an opportunity for learners to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their social awareness, and appreciate the importance of unity and understanding in our diverse world.
