University officials, faculty, staff, and guests joined families in recognizing the hard work and perseverance that brought these students to this important milestone.

We were deeply moved by the personal testimony of Mr. Richard C. Managuit, who shared how he waited seven years after high school before entering college, kept his dream alive, and ultimately graduated as Summa Cum Laude and Highest Academic Honors Awardee. His story reminded everyone that timelines are valid, that it is never too late to start, and that true excellence often comes from the courage to begin, persist, and finish.

Guest speaker Mayor Ricardo P. Presbitero Jr. delivered an inspiring commencement address, urging graduates to become future teachers, entrepreneurs, public servants, farmers, and community builders who will help shape the destiny of our municipality and nation. He thanked the graduates for their hard work and encouraged them to use their education to lead positive change.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, Valladolid Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Shirley R. Nacion, and other campus leaders offered heartfelt thanks to parents, guardians, and the CPSU faculty and staff whose sacrifices and guidance made this success possible. Their messages emphasized that through education, discipline, faith, and perseverance, dreams can become realities.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Carry the values of discipline, faith, kindness, and service wherever life takes you, and use your knowledge and skills to be instruments of progress and development in your communities. We celebrate your achievement today and welcome you to an exciting new chapter.

The celebration served as a moment of thanksgiving, reflection, and spiritual guidance before they received their diplomas and faced the challenges beyond college life.

Held in a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere, the Baccalaureate Mass brought together students, faculty members, parents, and guests who witnessed the memorable occasion. The graduates entered the venue wearing their togas with pride and excitement, symbolizing the fruit of their hard work, sacrifices, and perseverance throughout their academic journey. The Baccalaureate Mass was not only a religious celebration but also a symbol of hope and new beginnings. It marked the end of one journey and the start of another as the graduates of the CPSU Valladolid Extension Class prepared themselves to become responsible professionals and productive members of society.

As you received your hoods, that simple act honored the knowledge you have gained and the mentors who guided you. Wearing your hood with gratitude and pride reminded you of the responsibility to use your learning for the good of others. May it inspire you to keep serving your community, to stay humble in success, and to meet future challenges with courage and compassion.

The event reminded every Cenphilian to continue pursuing their dreams with faith, perseverance, and humility.
