The Mindoro State University — Main Campus University Student Government officially began its new term following the Oath-Taking Ceremony held last July 9. The turnover was witnessed and spearheaded by University President 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥, Director for Student Support and Engagement 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐟 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚, together with the 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐒𝐆 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬.

As per the request of the University Student Government of MinSU Main Campus, the temporary suspension of the prescribed school uniform has been officially approved in light of the extreme heat conditions currently affecting our campus. This initiative prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of all students of MinSU Main Campus.

Students are now allowed to wear light, comfortable, and appropriate civilian attire, subject to the following guidelines:

👕 Allowed Tops:
• Plain or printed T-shirts
• Organization (Org) shirts
• Blouses with sleeves

🚫 Not Allowed Tops:
• Crop tops, tube/strapless tops
• Sleeveless tops (e.g., sando, spaghetti straps)
• Tops with offensive or inappropriate prints

👖 Allowed Bottoms:
• Non-ripped jeans
• Jogging pants / sweatpants
• Slacks or trousers
• Skirts below the knee

🚫 Not Allowed Bottoms:
• Skirts above the knee
• Jorts / short jeans
• Leggings worn as pants
• Ripped or distressed jeans
• Shorts of any kind

👟 Footwear:
• Closed shoes only (e.g., rubber shoes, sneakers, loafers)
• Open footwear (slippers, flip-flops, sandals) is not allowed

Reminders:
• Wear your school ID at all times
• Maintain decency and proper grooming
• Follow uniform rules during examination periods

Let us continue to uphold discipline and respect while ensuring everyone stays safe and comfortable during this period of extreme heat.
