𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗔:

remains inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. As of this advisory, TCWS No. 1 is in effect over Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, and Southern Leyte. The system is moving closer to Eastern Visayas, bringing with it expected periods of strong winds and unfavorable weather conditions in the next 36 hours.

Residents across Eastern Visayas should anticipate heavy to at times intense rainfall, which may result in flooding and landslides, particularly in low-lying and mountainous areas. Sea travel along the eastern coasts of the region is discouraged due to rough to very rough sea conditions.

Everyone is advised to take precautionary measures such as securing homes and belongings, staying indoors during severe weather, and preparing for possible power interruptions. The VSU-CMC continues to monitor the wearher conditions.

Visayas State University Villaba proudly celebrated its Men’s Culmination Program on November 26, 2025 (Wednesday) at 1:00 PM in the Villaba Gymnasium, carrying the empowering theme ✨ “MEN OF STRENGTH: LEADING WITH PURPOSE AND HEART.” 💪❤️

The program opened with a warm and uplifting Welcome Message from Mr. Nin̈o Zenas Urgel 👏, setting the tone for an inspiring afternoon. This was followed by the Introduction of the Resource Speaker delivered by Hervina V. Mollejon, PhD 🎓.

Our honored Resource Speaker, Police Chief Master Sergeant Alvin Auman 👮‍♂️⭐, delivered a heartfelt and powerful talk that reminded all men of their great responsibility, leadership, and the importance of leading with integrity, purpose, and heart. 💙🔥

The event concluded with meaningful Closing Remarks from Mr. Nin̈o Dillera 🙌, leaving the audience inspired and empowered.

Based on the latest weather advisory on , which is expected to move farther from Leyte by early dawn tomorrow, classes across the VSU system shall shift to a flexible learning modality on November 25, 2025.

Faculty members are encouraged to extend consideration to students who may be in difficult situations caused by the weather, such as those experiencing flooding or other disruptions.

Work operations will proceed onsite on November 25, 2025 for all employees.

Regular full face-to-face classes will resume on November 26, 2025.

Let us all remain cautious and stay safe as weather conditions gradually improve.

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Following Malacañang’s Memorandum Circular No. 106, all classes across the VSU System are suspended on November 10–11 due to Super Typhoon Uwan. Work operations are also suspended on November 10.

Faculty and staff are enjoined to report onsite on November 11, unless personal or safety concerns require flexible work arrangements, subject to their supervisor’s approval.

Regular classes and work will resume on November 12 (Wednesday) unless new advisories or announcements are issued from competent authorities.

ADVISORY | In view of the aftermath of , and in consideration of the faculty members and students to recover and catch up with academic activities, the Salingkusog 2025 is postponed and rescheduled within the second semester of Academic Year 2025-2026.

This rescheduled activity was agreed by the University Administrative council (UADCO) during its special meeting on November 6, 2025.

This advisory is based on OP Memorandum Circular No. 292, s. 2025, released by the Office of the President, which supersedes any previous issuances relative to the conduct of Salingkusog 2025.
