𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 25, 2026 | The College of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) welcomed its students through the 2026 General Orientation and Student Excellence Recognition, held at the CatSU Gymnasium on August 25, 2026.

The event served as an opportunity for students to learn more about the college, its academic programs, important guidelines, and the opportunities available to them throughout their journey in CAF. It also helped students become more familiar with the expectations, responsibilities, and activities that come with being part of the college community.

With the guidance of Dr. Medie M. Lopez, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Fisheries, together with the faculty, staff, and CAF Student Council, the orientation provided important information that can help students adjust, participate, and make better decisions during the academic year. Students from BS Agriculture, BS Agribusiness, BS Fisheries, and BS Food Technology were given relevant information about their programs, academic life, and possible career opportunities in their chosen fields.

The event also highlighted the achievements of students through the Student Excellence Recognition. Outstanding students were acknowledged for their dedication and accomplishments in academics, leadership, and organizational involvement. Their success reflects the effort, commitment, and potential of CAF students and serves as an encouragement for others to continue pursuing excellence.

More than an opening activity, the gathering reminded the CAF community of the importance of working together, supporting one another, and creating an environment where every student can learn and grow. As the new academic year begins, CAF continues to encourage its students to pursue their goals, take part in meaningful opportunities, and prepare themselves for a future of service and professional excellence.

The College of Agriculture and Fisheries will officially hold its 2026 General Orientation and Student Excellence Recognition for all students enrolled in the BS Agriculture, BS Fisheries, BS Agribusiness, and BS Food Technology programs.

This assembly is an institutional activity designed to brief the student body on essential college policies, academic standards, curriculum requirements, and the institutional calendar of activities for the term. Alongside the orientation, the college will also proudly honor and recognize our outstanding students for their excellence and leadership.

Date: 25 August 2026 (Tuesday)
Time: 7:30 AM to 12:00 NN
Venue: CatSU Gymnasium

All students across the aforementioned programs are required to attend. Please be guided accordingly.

📢 NSTP REGISTRATION | AY 2026–2027

Attention, incoming NSTP students!

The NSTP Registration for Academic Year 2026–2027 is now open for students who intend to take Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) or Literacy Training Service (LTS).

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Students who have already enrolled in ROTC are NOT required to accomplish the registration form.

⏰ This form will only be open until August 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
