Open to all bona fide students of CatSU. Hereโ€™s how it works: you randomly draw one topic from the official pool, get three (3) minutes to organize your thoughts, then deliver a two (2) to three (3)-minute speech entirely in your own words. Once a topic is drawn, it cannot be exchanged. No scripts, no notes, no phones. Just your ideas, your analysis, and your voice.

The quizmaster reads each question twice, and the timer starts right after the second reading with โ€œGo!โ€
Teammates may discuss their answers, but only quietly so other teams cannot overhear
Write your answer clearly on the board. When the quizmaster says โ€œBoards Up!โ€, stop writing and raise your board
Late answers receive zero points, and correct spelling is strictly required
Only the Team Captain may file a protest, and it must be raised right after the correct answer is announced and before the next question is read

In case of a tie for the top three positions, a ๐’๐ฎ๐๐๐ž๐ง ๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ก round will follow. The first team to write the correct answer and raise their board wins the point, and the round continues until the tie is broken.

Cheating, including looking at other teamsโ€™ boards, receiving audience assistance, or using unauthorized electronic devices, means immediate disqualification of the entire team. Teams must also stay silent while questions are being read. Refusal to comply after one warning may result in a 1-point deduction from the teamโ€™s total score.
