| To all students of Catanduanes State University (Laboratory Schools to Graduate School), please be informed that classes on April 10–11, 2026, in both Virac and Panganiban campuses will be conducted face-to-face, based on the Memorandum Order issued by Pres. Gemma G. Acedo dated April 6, 2026.
In light of the prevailing high heat index, the University reminds the CatSU community to take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.
Everyone is advised to:
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day;
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours (10:00 AM–4:00 PM);
• Wear light, breathable clothing;
• Utilize shaded or well-ventilated areas whenever possible; and
• Be alert to signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and seek immediate medical attention when necessary.
Faculty members are likewise encouraged to consider appropriate adjustments to classroom activities, as needed, to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Let us all remain vigilant and prioritize health and safety during this period.
