The BS Agriculture – Crop Science majors officially opened the semester with their first laboratory activity: Identification of Ornamental Crops! 📑🌱

Working in collaborative teams, students dove straight into studying plant taxonomy—analyzing domain, kingdom, family, scientific names, and distinct physical features of various ornamental plants.

The College of Agriculture and Fisheries will officially hold its 2026 General Orientation and Student Excellence Recognition for all students enrolled in the BS Agriculture, BS Fisheries, BS Agribusiness, and BS Food Technology programs.

This assembly is an institutional activity designed to brief the student body on essential college policies, academic standards, curriculum requirements, and the institutional calendar of activities for the term. Alongside the orientation, the college will also proudly honor and recognize our outstanding students for their excellence and leadership.

Time: 7:30 AM to 12:00 NN
Venue: CatSU Gymnasium
