October 22 to 26 is not just PALARO WEEK for Crimsons, but also a week to "๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐, ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ซ" for business-related students like us, the BS Agribusiness. In line with the ZAMPEX 2025, 14 students of our department were invited to JOIN, to PARTICIPATE, to LEARN, and to HAVE FUN as they CREATE memories with other businessmen and businesswomen, and the other business-related students from different school here in Zamboanga City, as they CONNECT with the other participants and resource speaker, and CONQUER the business world beyond our imagination.
๐๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ), the learning session was all about 'Artificial Intelligence' with it's resource speaker AL-RAJHI OTOALIH, DICT. An AI-mazing moment where participants learned the important, advantages and disadvantages of AI. What an AI-MAZING discovery, what an AI-MAZING opportunity.
๐๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ), the learning session was about 'Intellectual Property Rights ', 'Google Certificate Coursera', and 'Digitalization' with their respective resource speaker: NICHOL MAY FORTUN,IPSO Davao; REYJOMAR MIGUEL, DTI-9; and RIZAMIE MONTIROLA, NC Culianan. Just like a coffee, it's 3-in-1, 3 session for 1 day where participants gained knowledge about the IPOPHIL, the rights we have to what we own; the different google courses that we can apply to gain more skills and knowledge, take note, this is not only on our own pace but also free; and lastly, the digitalization, now that we are in a modernized country, where gadgets and technologies are everywhere , and most of the things are digitalize , it's a MUST that we should learn what's digitalization.
Lastly, on ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ), the learning session was all about 'Basics of Exporting' and 'Financial literacy', with it's respective speakers, HELEN MAE HAMID,DTI-9 and SHERYL BALAMBAO,NC ZC Main. During the learning session for 'Basics of Exporting', we were introduce to the Chairman Extraordinaire of PHILEXPORT, Sec. Alfredo E. Pascual, where he share us a short video presentation of Philippine Exporter Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT). Showing what PHILEXPORT is and how it helps the businesses export their products and services to other country. With the help of the resource speaker, we learned the steps on how to export your product and it's impact to our economy. The last session, but not the least, the 'Financial literacy'. As an agriBUSINESS students, and us a citizen as well, it is important to learn this as we all deal with finances everyday.
Wait there's more, aside from the learning sessions, we also experienced the breathtaking exhibitions from the different provinces in Mindanao, namely: Isabela City, Sulu, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, and our very own, Zamboanga City. It's like a tour to their respective provinces and the products they offer. We're not only full of knowledge, but also our tummy are full because of FREE TASTE!
Of course, it won't be possible without the effort of DTI R9. Thank you for inviting us, until the next ZAMPEX!
