Preparing Future Professionals:
A Career Development Seminar–Workshop on “Skills for the Gen Z Workplace”
The College Department successfully conducted its Career Development Seminar–Workshop last February 4, 2026, carrying the theme “Skills for the Gen Z Workplace.” This academic activity was designed to prepare students for the demands of the modern professional environment by strengthening essential workplace competencies, career readiness, and adaptability in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.
The seminar was attended by third-year students from the Philosophy, Hospitality Management, and Business Administration programs, providing them with relevant insights on employability, professional skills, and career development aligned with current industry standards.
The activity was graced by the presence of the College’s academic and administrative leaders, namely: Dr. Romeo J. Gabito, College Dean; Mrs. Ma. Socorro F. Cipriano, MPA, Dean of Student Affairs and Department Head of Business Administration; Ms. April Joy P. Gregorio, Department Head of Hospitality Management; and Dr. Mary Jane A. Galang, RGC, College Guidance Counselor, whose guidance, leadership, and support contributed to the success of the seminar.
This seminar–workshop underscores the College’s continuing commitment to holistic student formation and to equipping future professionals with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for meaningful and productive participation in the workforce.
