We hope this message finds you well.The entire Colleges of WMSU, especially the CN would like to extend a request for your valuable participation in the WMSU Alumni Survey Tool.

This tool has been provided by the QMO (Quality Management Office) and the Alumni Relations Office to assist with the evaluation of QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) and QMS (Quality Management System) criteria. It is an integral part of our University's application for the Quacquarelli Symonds Stars Evaluation, scheduled for this May 2023.

The Western Mindanao State University will formally install Dr. Ma. Carla A. Ochotorena as its 6th President in an Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, July 28, 2022 to be held at the Dr. Juanito Bruno Gymnasium.

The Investiture is a formal ceremony where the various stakeholders of the University come together as an academic community to recognize the new leadership. Dr. Ochotorena took over as University President in the midst of a global pandemic in September 2020 when large gatherings were strongly discouraged to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

The Wesleyan University-Philippines Master of Arts in Nursing Distance Learning students bring you a FREE INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR.

"Beyond the RN: Maximizing Your Growth Potential in the Field of Nursing" is happening this July 30th, Saturday, 2022 at 09:00 AM Philippine Time. This Zoom event is open to all nursing students and professionals, as well as those in allied medical sciences.

We have three notable speakers, all just for you. Ray A. Gapuz is a nurse entrepreneur and was co-listed with Bill Gates in the 25th edition of Marquis Who’s Who in the world. Additionally, our guest speaker, Glenda S. Arquiza served as Chairperson and Member of the Professional Regulation Commission Board of Nursing. Finally, Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz is the champion of Salary Grade (SG) 15 for nurses working in the Philippine government.

In addition to Zoom on the day of the event, we will also be available in Facebook live at WUP MAN In-Service Education in Nursing.

MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT!

Only 3 days to go before the 2022 elections. Follow these STEPS IN VOTING for the MAY 9, 2022 NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS

Voting Time : 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Have your temperature checked before entering the voting center.

Proceed to the Voters' Assistance Desk (VAD) to secure your precinct and sequence numbers and assigned room or clustered precinct.

Go to your assigned room and introduce yourself to the Electoral Board by stating your name, precinct and sequence numbers.

Get your ballot, ballot secrecy folder and marking pen and fill-out the ballot at the voting area.

Accomplish the ballot by fully shading the oval appearing before the name of the candidate you wish to vote for. Do not overvote.

Feed the ballot into the Vote Counting Machine (VCM).

Check your voter's receipt and then deposit it in the receptacle.

Have your right forefinger nail stained with indelible ink.

VOTE SAFE. Always follow health and safety protocols.

The College of Nursing had their first ever Disaster Nursing Webinar and Simulation on Incident Command System - Mass Casualty Incident with Triage. The BSN Level 4 Students had participated in the said activity by performing their Role as disaster nurses.
