A new chapter begins for BHCI Debate Society! 📖🔥 As we welcome our newly elected officers, we also welcome a renewed spirit of leadership and service. These leaders will not only manage tournaments and activities, but also inspire their fellow debaters to think sharper, speak bolder, and lead with integrity.

🚨 Makibaka, huwag matakot! 🚨

We, the Brent Debate Society, stand with the Filipino people in the fight against systemic corruption. While the nation sinks under ₱17.267 trillion in debt, families go hungry and our future is stolen by those in power.

Tama na. Sobra na. Ang yaman ng bayan ay para sa mamamayan, hindi para sa bulsa ng iilan.

We call on the youth and the people to unite, resist lies and empty promises, and demand full accountability. The fight against corruption is the fight of our generation.

✊🏼 Kabataan, bayan, sama-samang lumalaban!

In light of the upcoming College elections and the display of different credentials of the running candidates, the Brent Debate Society strongly condemns candidates who declare FALSE MEMBERSHIP or TRAINEE status in the organization.

Take note that a Brent Debate Society MEMBER is someone who has passed our recruitment process, undergone our training process, participated in the organization’s activities such as debate tournaments, and actively fulfilled their administrative duties within the society.

A TRAINEE, on the other hand, has only passed the recruitment process but has not necessarily passed or undergone the training process. A trainee status is UNEQUIVOCALLY REVOKED once the recruit leaves the organization. Claiming to be a trainee of the Brent Debate Society should hold true to its meaning—that you still actively participate in our trainings and practices.

Our organization’s membership is hard-earned and requires endurance, commitment, and grit to maintain. We do not tolerate candidates who use membership or trainee status for clout, much less for political traction during the elections.

THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE IS STRONGER THAN THOSE IN POWER!

?!

📢 Kaya tumindig at magmartsa!
Habang si Marcos Jr. ay nagpapabango sa SONA, ipakita natin ang tunay na kalagayan ng bayan — at ang ating panawagan para sa edukasyon, hustisya, at karapatan!

🗣️ “Why do you debate?”
We asked our Resident Members.
Sagot nila?
Kasi hindi sapat ang rant sa Twitter.
Kailangan ng argumento, ebidensya, at konting gigil. ✊📢
