𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Hope was ignited and opportunities embraced as graduating students and alumni came together for Job Fair 2026 on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Guided by the theme “𝐼𝑔𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑜𝑝𝑒, 𝐸𝑚𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑂𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠: 𝐴 𝑃𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑡𝑜 𝑀𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑘,” the event became a powerful bridge between academic preparation and real-world employment opportunities.

A total of 17 PESO-accredited employers joined the fair, representing a wide range of industries and offering opportunities within Zamboanga City, across the Philippines, and overseas. Their presence not only opened doors to employment but also provided valuable insights into organizational expectations and professional growth.

The event was further strengthened by the support of government agencies including the 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑫𝑶𝑳𝑬), 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒊𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔 (𝑫𝑴𝑾), 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 (𝑺𝑺𝑺), underscoring the collaborative effort to prepare students and alumni for meaningful careers.

𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑠 𝑇ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑜𝑦𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝐶𝑜𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔

Last March 25, 2026, the Guidance Center successfully conducted an Employment Coaching for our graduating college students, an empowering activity designed to prepare them for their next big step into the professional world.

The session opened with a thought‑provoking challenge: “𝖠𝗋𝖾 𝗐𝖾 𝗍𝗋𝗎𝗅𝗒 𝗋𝖾𝖺𝖽𝗒 𝗍𝗈 𝗃𝗈𝗂𝗇 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗄𝖿𝗈𝗋𝖼𝖾?” This question set the tone for reflection, reminding students that readiness goes beyond academic achievement. It requires a willingness to learn, confidence to face new environments, and the courage to take action.

Throughout the coaching, students were guided to see that while the future may be uncertain, it is filled with endless possibilities. Success is not about perfect timing, but about the mindset we choose to develop and the preparation we commit to, even before challenges arise.

The activity also featured a Job Fair Orientation conducted by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), providing students with practical guidance on exploring job opportunities, navigating applications, and understanding recruitment processes.

This impactful session was made possible through the generous support and expertise of Mrs. Clarissa Miranda and Ms. Kanicar Araneta‑Barandino, whose guidance truly inspired and empowered our students as they prepare to enter the workforce.

As our graduates step into the workforce, we remind them to stay confident, remain curious, and approach every opportunity with purpose. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing them thrive, lead, and make a meaningful impact in their communities and chosen professions.

Households are the first and most important environment where early childhood development takes shape, as children learn values, language, and emotional security at home. Through responsive caregiving, proper nutrition, and consistent routines, families lay the foundation for a child’s physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth. When parents and caregivers provide love, safety, and stimulation, children develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience.

Supportive households also reinforce early learning by modeling positive behavior and encouraging play, reading, and exploration. Strong family involvement during the early years reduces developmental gaps and prepares children for success in school and in life. Ultimately, households that prioritize early childhood development help build stronger families, more inclusive communities, and a more progressive nation.
