Stay updated on the official schedule, requirements, and evaluation criteria to ensure a smooth application process. All applicants are strongly advised to prepare all necessary documents and comply with the qualifications set by the department.

Last May 7, 2026, the joint project between the College of Computing Studies – College Student Council (CCS-CSC) and the University Student Council (USC) was successfully implemented. The much-anticipated tables and benches have now been officially placed and are actively being utilized by our fellow CCS students.

This initiative, driven by the vision of the CCS-CSC and made possible through the support of the USC, is entirely centered around student comfort. We recognized the critical need for dedicated, practical spaces where students can comfortably sit, collaborate, and code between classes. Seeing this project transition from a proposal into a realized fixture in our college directly aligns with our core goal: to provide tangible, responsive service to the student body.

To our CCS Pythons, we hope these new spaces serve you well as you work on your programs and push through your academic requirements. Keep debugging, keep building, and make the most out of these facilities.

The College of Computing Studies – Student Council successfully conducted its 5th General Meeting, attended by members of both the Executive Body and Committees, reflecting the council’s continued commitment to active participation, collaboration, and service.

With a total of 21 members present, the council engaged in productive discussions and strategic planning to address key matters concerning the organization and the student body. The meeting covered important agenda points including the Financial Status, Matters for Attention, updates regarding the CCS Merchandise, the implementation of Finals Free Snacks, concerns on the 2nd Semester Clearance, and initial planning for the upcoming events for the new school year 2026–2027. The session also provided an avenue for members to raise relevant concerns and propose ideas that will further strengthen council initiatives.

This meeting highlights the CCS-CSC’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and proactive leadership. Through collective effort and meaningful dialogue, the council continues to build programs and initiatives that prioritize the welfare and interests of the College of Computing Studies community.

Yesterday, May 6, 2026, the CCS–CSC successfully distributed free snacks to our fellow CCS students at the CCS 1st Floor Lobby as part of our finals season initiative. In the middle of deadlines, reviews, and exam preparations, we hoped to offer a small boost to help everyone recharge and push through the final stretch of the semester.

This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of the CCS–CSC Executives together with our active committees, who helped in the preparation and distribution of the snacks. Your time, effort, and teamwork made this simple gesture possible.

To every student who stopped by, we hope the snacks somehow gave you a little reset and extra energy for your exams and requirements. Keep debugging, keep building, and keep pushing through.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐂𝐂𝐒-𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔 – 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 successfully conducted its 5th Executive Meeting, where officers once again gathered to discuss key matters essential to the continuous progress of the council and the welfare of the CCS student body.

The session centered on the delegation of councilors’ tasks, discussions on OIC prospects, preparations for upcoming events, and matters concerning the VENOM publication interview. These discussions reflect the council’s commitment to ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities and sustaining initiatives that will further strengthen student leadership and engagement within the college.

More than just another meeting, this session marked a significant milestone as it served as the final executive meeting for the School Year 2025–2026. It also stands as the last official gathering with the council’s graduating executive officers—leaders who have dedicated their time, effort, and service in shaping initiatives that have benefited the CCS community.

As this chapter comes to a close, the meeting became a moment of reflection and gratitude—recognizing the contributions of those who will soon pass on the mantle of leadership, while also preparing the next set of officers to continue the council’s mission with the same passion and dedication.

Through every session, every discussion, and every action taken, the CCS-CSC remains steadfast in its commitment to responsive leadership and genuine service.

This may be the final executive meeting of the academic year, but it also marks the beginning of new opportunities for the council to grow, lead, and serve.

𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓💚

Last April 15, 2026, the University Student Council (USC) officially conducted the project turn-over to all College Student Councils (CSCs) in fulfillment of the Joint USC–CSC Project for Academic Year 2025–2026. This initiative marks the successful culmination of collaborative efforts between the central and college-level student governments, reinforcing their shared commitment to responsive and impactful student leadership. The project was funded through a portion of the 𝟓𝟎% allocation derived from the 𝟑𝟎% CSC remittance to the USC, ensuring that student contributions are returned in the form of tangible and beneficial projects for the community.

This 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 was initially conceptualized as a campaign platform of the then-running Mayor Fritzie Balagosa and was later formally presented through the collective efforts of the CCS-CSC Councilors and Representative to the USC Executives. Through continuous planning, coordination, and ex*****on, the initiative evolved from a proposed platform into a realized project that will soon provide comfort to our CCS Pythons.

The realization of this project would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of the CCS-CSC Executives, including the Mayor, Vice Mayor Paul Zaragoza, and Senator Daniela Alpez, whose guidance and support ensured its successful implementation. Their collective efforts, alongside the help and support of the council members, highlight the strength of unified governance in transforming vision into reality.
