𝗭𝗣𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 | University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral convened all officials, faculty and staff to discuss measures aimed at strengthening campus safety, security protocols, and institutional roles and responsibilities, held at the University Gymnasium, August 20.

Dr. Cabral underscored that the university safety is a shared responsibility. Also, he reminded all the teachers that students should be heard, helped, and protected.

Police Captain Arnel S. Cabanlong, Station Commander of Zamboanga City Police Office - Station 13, served as the Resource Person and provided insights on proper coordination with law enforcement agencies, preparedness, prevention, and appropriate responses during security concerns and threats.

The meeting reaffirms ZPPSU's commitment to promoting safe and secure university environment, fostering the well-being of the students and personnel, and upholding the value of every human life.

𝐙𝐏𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Per Zamboanga City government, classes at all levels remain suspended to give way for the conduct of campus-wide anti-dengue measures amid the dengue epidemic declaration in the city on Thursday, August 20.

The suspension is also due to the high heat index which hits extreme caution level per latest PAGASA bulletin.

ZPPSU Main Campus — All face-to-face classes are cancelled and will shift to online or asynchronous mode.

𝐙𝐏𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 | In response to recent incidents and 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬, enhanced security measures are now being implemented across the campus. The University assures the ZPPSU community and the public of its continued commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly campus environment.

All students, employees, visitors, and stakeholders are encouraged to comply with security protocols and remain vigilant at all times.

The safety, security, and protection of the entire ZPPSU community remain the University’s highest priority.
