Studio 3:30 turned into a warm laughter session we’ll remember for a long time. With our invited teachers as special guests, Sir Syed Shahb Zarin, Sir Akhtar Rasheed, Mam Aisha, the room felt lighter, brighter, and beautifully alive. Between the jokes, the stories, and those spontaneous moments of fun, we saw a side of learning that’s built on comfort, connection, and shared smiles.

Huge thanks to CLS for organizing such an engaging event, and to our hosts Haziq and Iman for keeping the energy flowing and everyone included. This is what community feels like.

On Thursday, 21 May, COMSATS Literary Society hosted a series of engaging literary events at Auditorium, beginning at 11 AM, celebrating creativity, knowledge, and the performing arts.

The day featured All-Rounder Quiz Competition, where six teams of two participants competed in exciting rounds including General Knowledge, Islamic Knowledge, Guess the Picture, and the Buzzer Round. After an intense contest, Zonaisha Khan and Aqsa Azeem secured first place and were awarded medals, while all participants received certificates for their enthusiastic participation.

Running throughout the day, Literary Bits provided students with an open platform to showcase their talents in poetry, storytelling, debates, Ghazal, Nazm, spoken word, elocution, and dramatic readings. The event encouraged self-expression and highlighted the diverse literary abilities of the participants.

The celebrations concluded with the stage drama The Murder of Literary Logic, a unique courtroom-themed performance that blended satire, humor, and literary imagination. The captivating production entertained the audience with its creative script and powerful performances, while the Best Actor Hayya Nisar was recognized with a medal for outstanding stage presence.

Together, these events reflected the COMSATS Literary Society's dedication to fostering intellectual growth, artistic expression, and a vibrant literary culture on campus.

COMSATS Literary Society organized Naat & Qirat Competition on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, at 11:00 AM in A Block. The event brought together students, faculty members, and members of the university administration in a spiritually uplifting gathering dedicated to the recitation of the Holy Quran and the praise of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The program commenced with Qirat Competition, where participants demonstrated remarkable command of Tajweed, pronunciation, and melodious recitation of the Holy Quran. This was followed by Naat Competition, in which participants presented heartfelt tributes to the Beloved Prophet ﷺ with sincerity, devotion, and eloquence. The audience remained engaged throughout the event, appreciating the dedication and talent displayed by every participant.

The competitions were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges. The Qirat Competition was judged by Hazrat Allama Qari Raees Sahab and Mr. Rukhsar Rajpoot, while the Naat Competition was judged by Qari Muhammad Junaid Sahab and Mr. Usama Pervez. Their expertise ensured a fair and transparent evaluation of all performances.

After careful assessment, the winners were announced.

Naat Competition

Shields and souvenirs were also presented to the respected judges and distinguished guests as a token of gratitude for their valuable presence and contributions. The event concluded with refreshments.

Naat & Qirat Competition reflected the COMSATS Literary Society's commitment to promoting Islamic values, encouraging spiritual expression, and providing students with a platform to showcase their talents in Quranic recitation and Naat. Orchestrating a program of this nature requires strict attention to detail and decorum, which was effectively delivered by organizers Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah and Muhammad Sulaiman.

Taking the stage for Qirat requires a rigorous grasp of pronunciation and rhythm, while reciting a Naat demands a deep emotional connection paired with vocal stability. The participants held themselves to a high standard, delivering recitations that earned the respect of the room.

COMSATS Literary Society organized Bait Bazi on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 2:00 PM in A Block. The event aimed to promote the rich tradition of Urdu literature while providing students with an opportunity to showcase their literary knowledge, memory, confidence, and presence of mind.

The event was honored by the presence of Esteemed Poet Mr. Sohail Ahmed Sameem, who served as the Chief Guest and Judge. Mr. Osama Pervez also joined the event as a Guest and Judge. Their insightful evaluation and words of encouragement greatly motivated the participants and contributed to the success of the competition.

The following teams participated in the competition:

ادب، یادداشت، حاضر جوابی اور شعر و سخن سے محبت کا ایک یادگار امتزاج۔ COMSATS Literary Society کے زیرِ اہتمام منعقد ہونے والی بیت بازی میں شرکاء نے اپنی شاندار یادداشت، پُراعتماد انداز اور شاعری سے محبت کا بھرپور مظاہرہ کیا۔

ہر شعر کے ساتھ مقابلہ مزید دلچسپ ہوتا گیا اور محفل داد و تحسین سے گونجتی رہی۔ اس موقع پر عبداللہ جاوید کی پُرسوز اور پُراثر شاعری نے سامعین کو مسحور کر دیا اور محفل کو ایک منفرد رنگ بخشا۔

یہ صرف ایک مقابلہ نہیں، بلکہ اردو ادب اور شاعری سے ہماری محبت کا خوبصورت جشن تھا۔ 🌿

COMSATS Literary Society organized a Bilingual Declamation Contest at A-Block Lawn. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.

The competition featured both English and Urdu Declamation categories, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive communication skills.

Numerous speakers participated in each category and delivered thought-provoking speeches on the assigned topics. The audience remained actively engaged throughout the event, appreciating the confidence and eloquence displayed by the contestants.

After a keen evaluation by the judges, the following participants secured top positions:
