گورنمنٹ صادق ویمن یونیورسٹی میں جدید تحقیقی مرکز کا افتتاح، طالبات کے لیے نئی پنک بس کا تحفہ
بہاولپور (پ ر) صوبائی وزیر ہائر ایجوکیشن پنجاب و پرو چانسلر گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی رانا سکندر حیات نے گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا دورہ کیا، جہاں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے ان کا خیرمقدم کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے صوبائی وزیر کو یونیورسٹی کے تعلیمی، تحقیقی، انتظامی اور ترقیاتی امور، جاری منصوبوں اور طالبات کو فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔دورے کے دوران صوبائی وزیر ہائر ایجوکیشن پنجاب و پرو چانسلر رانا سکندر حیات نے سنٹر آف ایکسیلنس ان میٹیریلز سائنس اینڈ نینو ٹیکنالوجی کا افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے سنٹر کے قیام کے اغراض و مقاصد، جدید سائنسی و تحقیقی سہولیات اور طالبات کے لیے اس کے تعلیمی و تحقیقی امکانات پر روشنی ڈالی۔صوبائی وزیر نے یونیورسٹی کے ہاسٹل کا بھی دورہ کیا اور طالبات کو فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کا جائزہ لیا۔ انہوں نے طالبات سے ملاقات اور غیر رسمی گفتگو بھی کی، ان کے مسائل اور تجاویز سنیں اور ان کے ساتھ خوشگوار ماحول میں وقت گزارا۔طالبات کی سفری سہولیات میں مزید بہتری کے لیے صوبائی وزیر ہائر ایجوکیشن پنجاب و پرو چانسلر رانا سکندر حیات نے چیف منسٹر پنجاب کی جانب سے گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی کے لیے ایک عدد نئی چیف منسٹر پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف پنک بس بھی فراہم کی۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے طالبات کے لیے سفری سہولیات میں اضافے کے اس اقدام پر صوبائی وزیر کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔دورے کے دوران یونیورسٹی کی 125 ایکڑ اراضی سے متعلق معاملہ بھی صوبائی وزیر کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا۔ رانا سکندر حیات نے مسئلے کے حل کے لیے فوری اقدامات کی یقین دہانی کراتے ہوئے متعلقہ حکام کے ساتھ معاملہ اٹھانے اور اس حوالے سے مؤثر پیش رفت یقینی بنانے کا عندیہ دیا۔اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے کہا کہ گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی طالبات کو جدید تعلیمی و تحقیقی سہولیات کی فراہمی اور انہیں عملی میدان کے تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ کرنے کے لیے مسلسل اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے سنٹر آف ایکسیلنس کے افتتاح، نئی پنک بس کی فراہمی اور یونیورسٹی کی 125 ایکڑ اراضی سے متعلق مسئلے کے حل کے لیے تعاون پر صوبائی وزیر ہائر ایجوکیشن پنجاب و پرو چانسلر رانا سکندر حیات کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔اس موقع پر صوبائی پارلیمانی سیکرٹری ڈاکٹر رانا طارق شمیم، رجسٹرار ڈاکٹر صائمہ انجم، ڈینز، سربراہانِ شعبہ جات، اساتذہ اور دیگر متعلقہ افسران بھی موجود تھے۔
Modern Research Centre Inaugurated at Sadiq Women University; New Pink Bus Provided for Students
Bahawalpur (PR): Provincial Minister for Higher Education Punjab and Pro-Chancellor, Government Sadiq College Women University, Rana Sikandar Hayat, visited the Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, where Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum warmly welcomed him. The Vice Chancellor briefed the Provincial Minister on the university’s academic, research, administrative and developmental affairs, ongoing projects, and facilities being provided to the students. During the visit, Provincial Minister for Higher Education Punjab and Pro-Chancellor Rana Sikandar Hayat inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in Materials Science and Nanotechnology. On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum briefed him on the objectives of the center, its modern scientific and research facilities, and the academic and research opportunities it would provide to the students. The Provincial Minister also visited the university hostel and reviewed the facilities available to the students. He interacted with the students, listened to their concerns and suggestions, and engaged with them in an informal and cordial atmosphere. To further improve transportation facilities for students, Provincial Minister for Higher Education Punjab and Pro-Chancellor Rana Sikandar Hayat, on behalf of the Chief Minister of Punjab, provided a new Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Pink Bus to the Government Sadiq College Women University. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum expressed her gratitude to the Provincial Minister for the provision of the new bus, which would help enhance safe and convenient transportation facilities for the students. During the visit, the issue concerning the university’s 125-acre land was also brought to the attention of the Provincial Minister. Rana Sikandar Hayat assured the university administration of immediate steps towards resolving the matter, stating that the issue would be taken up with the relevant authorities to ensure meaningful progress. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum said that the Government Sadiq College Women University was continuously taking measures to provide students with modern academic and research facilities and to equip them with skills in line with the requirements of the professional world. She expressed her gratitude to the Provincial Minister for the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence, provision of the new Pink Bus, and his assurance regarding the resolution of the university’s 125-acre land issue. Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Rana Tariq Shamim, Registrar Dr. Saima Anjum, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and other university officials were also present on the occasion.
