Pakistan–China International Conference on Food-Medicine Homology, Nutrition, and Health Inaugurated at SZABIST
Under the auspices of OIC-COMSTECH, the Pakistan–China International Conference on Food-Medicine Homology, Nutrition, and Health was successfully inaugurated at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology. The conference brought together eminent scientists, policymakers, regulators, and industry experts from Pakistan and China to foster collaboration in health sciences, nutrition, and traditional medicine.
Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Vice Chancellor of Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, attended the conference as a distinguished participant. Addressing the audience, she highlighted the growing importance of interdisciplinary research in the domains of food, medicine, and nutrition. She emphasized that the concept of food-medicine homology offers promising avenues for preventive healthcare and sustainable wellbeing. Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum further underscored the need for strengthened academic partnerships between Pakistan and China, particularly in areas of research innovation, faculty exchange, and capacity building. She noted that such collaborative platforms play a vital role in addressing global health challenges through the integration of traditional knowledge and modern scientific approaches.
