The Department of Chemistry, University of Central Punjab (UCP), Bahawalpur Campus, successfully completed an innovative Internship Project that transformed classroom learning into practical product development. Using the university’s Chemistry Laboratory, students formulated a range of everyday-use products, including hand wash, shampoo, petroleum jelly (Vaseline), and soap, in different formulations and variants—providing them with valuable hands-on experience in laboratory-based innovation and product development.

The Project Display was visited by Prof. Hamid Iqbal, Director, PGC-UCP Bahawalpur Cluster, along with Dr. Aurangzaib Virk, Campus Head, UCP Bahawalpur Campus, who appreciated the students’ efforts and the Department’s commitment to experiential learning and innovation. The project was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Nasrullah and Dr. Noreen Aslam, who provided academic and technical guidance throughout the project.

The BBA 8th Semester Final Project Viva Voce was successfully conducted at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Bahawalpur Campus, providing students with a valuable platform to present and defend their final-year projects before a distinguished academic panel.

The Viva Voce was chaired by Dr. Aurangzaib Virk, Campus Head, UCP Bahawalpur Campus. The External Evaluation Panel comprised Dr. Syed Usman Gilani, Department of Management Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and Dr. Shahid Ameen, Department of Commerce, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The Project Supervisors, Prof. Khizar Hayat and Prof. Akbar Bhatti, were also present to facilitate the academic proceedings. The panel further included Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, Head Academics, and Dr. Abdul Kareem Khan, Head QEC, UCP Bahawalpur Campus.

During the Viva Voce, students presented their final projects and demonstrated their academic knowledge, research competencies, analytical abilities, and practical understanding of contemporary business concepts. The distinguished evaluation panel assessed the students’ projects and provided constructive academic feedback and professional guidance to further enhance their learning and development.
