جامعہ تھل بھکر کے شعبہ نباتیات کے دوسرے بورڈ آف اسٹڈیز اجلاس میں اہم تعلیمی فیصلوں کی منظوری

بھکر: جامعہ تھل بھکر کے شعبہ نباتیات (Department of Botany) کے دوسرے بورڈ آف اسٹڈیز (Board of Studies - BoS) کا اجلاس کامیابی سے منعقد ہوا، جس میں ممتاز ماہرین تعلیم اور بورڈ کے معزز اراکین نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس کا مقصد شعبہ نباتیات کے تعلیمی معیار کو مزید بہتر بنانا، نصاب کو جدید تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ کرنا اور نئے تعلیمی پروگراموں کی منظوری دینا تھا۔

اجلاس میں مختلف اہم ایجنڈا آئٹمز پر تفصیلی غور و خوض کے بعد متفقہ طور پر درج ذیل فیصلوں کی منظوری دی گئی:

اجلاس میں منظور کیے گئے اہم فیصلے
1. بی ایس باٹنی پروگرام کی اسکیم آف اسٹڈیز کی منظوری۔
2. بی ایس باٹنی (پانچویں داخلہ/ففتھ انٹیک) کے نصاب اور اسکیم آف اسٹڈیز کی منظوری۔
3. جامعہ تھل بھکر میں شعبہ نباتیات کے قیام اور شعبہ کے نئے سرکاری لوگو کی منظوری۔
4. جدید بین الشعبہ جاتی پروگرام "بی ایس آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس اینڈ کلائمیٹ چینج" کے اجراء کی منظوری، جو اجلاس کا سب سے اہم اور تاریخی فیصلہ قرار پایا۔ اس پروگرام کا مقصد مصنوعی ذہانت (Artificial Intelligence) اور موسمیاتی تبدیلی (Climate Change) کے علوم کو یکجا کرتے ہوئے طلبہ کو جدید سائنسی، تحقیقی اور صنعتی تقاضوں کے مطابق تیار کرنا ہے۔

شرکاء نے اس نئے پروگرام کو جامعہ تھل بھکر کے لیے ایک اہم سنگ میل قرار دیتے ہوئے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ یہ پروگرام مستقبل میں اعلیٰ تعلیم، تحقیق اور قومی ترقی میں نمایاں کردار ادا کرے گا۔

اجلاس کے دوران اراکین نے شعبہ نباتیات کی تعلیمی سرگرمیوں، نصاب کی بہتری، جدید تحقیق کے فروغ اور طلبہ کو عالمی معیار کی تعلیم فراہم کرنے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ اجلاس خوشگوار ماحول میں اختتام پذیر ہوا اور تمام شرکاء نے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ منظور شدہ فیصلے جامعہ تھل بھکر کے شعبہ نباتیات کو تعلیمی و تحقیقی میدان میں مزید ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن کریں گے۔

At the Plant Ecophysiology Lab, we study the inner workings of plant life, photosynthesis, water relations, nutrient dynamics, and stress physiology to understand how crops and ecosystems respond to environmental pressures like heavy-metal contamination, drought, and climate variability. Our research bridges the lab bench and the field, turning physiological insight into real solutions for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem management.

Led by Hammad Awan, Dr. Muhammad Kabir (Registrar & Head of Lab), and backed by the vision of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad Buzdar, we're building a collaborative space for students and researchers passionate about plant–environment interactions.

He inspected ongoing trials of collaborative research projects by our students Abid Hussain and was briefed by Muhammad Hammad. They presented a detailed briefing and demonstration of their work, showcasing the lab’s dedication to cutting-edge research.
