Deputy Commissioner Matiari, Mr. Muhammad Danish Zakir, along with Mr. Mazahir Ali Buriro, Assistant Commissioner Hala, paid an official visit to the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences (USMS), Bhit Shah.
The visiting officers were warmly received by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, along with senior officers of the University.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner toured various academic and developmental facilities of the University, including the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab, classrooms, and the new construction site. They were briefed about the academic facilities, technological initiatives, and ongoing infrastructural development of the University.
At the new construction site, Mr. Faheem Ahmed Soomro, Project Director, gave a detailed briefing regarding the ongoing construction work, progress of the project, and various components of the development scheme. The visiting officers inspected the site and appreciated the progress and quality of the construction work.
The delegation also visited the AI Lab and classrooms and took keen interest in the University's academic and technological initiatives. The visiting officers appreciated the efforts of the Vice Chancellor and University administration towards strengthening academic facilities and institutional infrastructure.
As a gesture of respect and traditional Sindhi hospitality, the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, presented an Ajrak and commemorative shield to Deputy Commissioner Matiari, Mr. Muhammad Danish Zakir, in recognition of his visit to the University.
The visit was attended by Sayed Wasif Ali Shah, Student Welfare Officer; Mr. Faheem Ahmed Soomro, Project Director; Sayed Imdad Shah, Registrar; and Dr. Ali Raza Rang, Chairperson I&C Department; along with other University officers and staff.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with the visiting officers appreciating the University's academic, technological, and infrastructural development initiatives.
