انتہائی افسوسناک خبر
ہمیں یہ سن کر شدید دکھ اور صدمہ ہوا کہ ہمارے پیارے دوست، ینگ فارماسسٹ کونسل (YPC) یونیورسٹی آف پشاور کے سینئر وائس پریزیڈنٹ اور فورتھ پروفیشنل کے طالبعلم کو نامعلوم افراد نے بے دردی سے قتل کر دیا۔
یہ ایک ناقابلِ تلافی نقصان ہے۔ ہم مرحوم کے اہلِ خانہ کے غم میں برابر کے شریک ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا گو ہیں کہ وہ مرحوم کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے اور لواحقین کو صبرِ جمیل عطا کرے۔
ہم متعلقہ حکام سے پرزور مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ اس افسوسناک واقعے کی فوری اور شفاف تحقیقات کی جائیں اور مجرموں کو سخت سے سخت سزا دی جائے۔

The Grand Iftar Party arranged by Young Pharmacists Club Pakistan was a wonderful and memorable gathering held in the blessed month of Ramadan. The purpose of this gathering was not only to break the fast together but also to strengthen the bond of unity, brotherhood, and professional collaboration within the pharmacy community. Events like this provide a valuable opportunity for networking, exchanging ideas, and building strong relationships that can contribute to the growth and development of the pharmacy profession in Pakistan.
The atmosphere of the event was warm and inspiring, filled with the spirit of Ramadan, mutual respect, and friendship. Such moments remind us of the importance of togetherness, gratitude, and supporting one another in both personal and professional life.

O Allah, as this blessed month of Ramadan begins, we turn to You with humble hearts and sincere intentions. Grant us the strength to fast with patience, to pray with devotion, and to remember You with gratitude.

Ya Rabb, forgive our past shortcomings, purify our hearts, and illuminate our lives with the light of faith. Accept our fasting, our prayers, our recitation of the Qur’an, and every act of charity performed for Your pleasure alone.

Bless our families with harmony, our communities with unity, and our Ummah with peace and dignity. Ease the difficulties of those who are struggling, grant shifa to the sick, mercy to the departed, and relief to those facing hardship.

O Most Merciful, write for us goodness in this world and success in the Hereafter. Allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr and to emerge from this Ramadan spiritually renewed, forgiven, and closer to You than ever before.

آج کل پاکستان فارمیسی کونسل کے مختلف ٹیمز ملک بھر کے جامعات میں فارمیسی ڈیپارٹمنٹ میں تعلیم کی معیار کی جانچ پڑتال کے لئے مصروف ہیں۔
ہم نے خیبر پختونخوا کی سرکاری جامعات میں موجودہ اساتذہ کا ڈیٹا اکھٹا کیا، تو صورتحال انتہائی تشویشناک ہے۔ پی سی پی کے اپنے قوانین اور 11 جون 2024 کے سرکلر میں 1:10 کا اسٹوڈنٹ اور فیکلٹی کے مخصوص تناسب (40% لیکچرر، 30% اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر، 20% ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، 10% پروفیسر) طے ہے، مگر زمینی حقائق اس کے برعکس ہیں۔

اس وقت ہزارہ یونیورسٹی (400 طلبہ) میں 40 اساتذہ درکار ہیں مگر موجودہ صرف 4 ہیں، یعنی 36 کی کمی ہے۔ یونیورسٹی آف پشاور (600 طلبہ) کو 60 اساتذہ چاہیئں مگر موجودہ 12 ہیں، یعنی 48 کمی۔ یونیورسٹی آف صوابی (500 طلبہ) کو 50 اساتذہ کی ضرورت ہے مگر 17 موجود ہیں، 33 کی کمی ہے۔ عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی (500 طلبہ) میں 13 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 50 چاہیئں، 37 کمی۔ خیبر میڈیکل یونیورسٹی (500 طلبہ) میں 12 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 50 درکار ہیں، 38 کمی۔ شہید بینظیر بھٹو یونیورسٹی (200 طلبہ) میں 10 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 20 چاہیئں، 10 کمی۔ ایبٹ آباد یونیورسٹی (500 طلبہ) میں 14 اساتذہ ہیں مگر 50 درکار ہیں، 36 کمی۔ کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی (500 طلبہ) میں 14 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 50 چاہیئں، 36 کمی۔ گومل یونیورسٹی (1200 طلبہ) میں 22 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 120 درکار ہیں، جو 98 کی بھاری کمی ہے۔ مالاکنڈ یونیورسٹی (350 طلبہ) میں 17 اساتذہ ہیں مگر 35 چاہیئں، 18 کمی۔ جبکہ باچا خان یونیورسٹی (400 طلبہ) میں محض 2 اساتذہ ہیں جبکہ 40 درکار ہیں، یعنی 38 کی شدید کمی ہے۔

مجموعی طور پر صرف ان گیارہ یونیورسٹیوں میں 437 اساتذہ کی مجموعی کمی ہے، جو واضح کرتی ہے کہ فارمیسی تعلیم کا ڈھانچہ انتہائی کمزور ہے۔ زیادہ تر اداروں میں لیکچرز کی شدید قلت ہے، جبکہ سینئر پروفیسرز کا تناسب بھی مطلوبہ معیار سے بہت نیچے ہے۔

یہ صورتحال نہ صرف تعلیمی معیار کو متاثر کر رہی ہے بلکہ ایم فل/پی ایچ ڈی جیسے اعلیٰ پروگراموں کی معیار پر بھی سوالیہ نشان ہے۔ پی سی پی سے اپیل ہے کہ انسپکشن محض رسمی نہ ہو۔ جو ادارے اس بنیادی شرط پر پورے نہیں اترتے، ان کی منظوری پر سخت اقدامات اٹھائے جائیں۔
