Recommendations
for COVID-19 For Professionals, Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics

1. Triage in hospitals for cases of fever, cough, dyspnoea:
All government and private facilities based on clinical case definition or presumptive diagnosis.
2. Using telemedicine service:
Round the clock 24/7- will save the health professionals (SOP based, most will not need to come to hospitals and doctors' chambers.)
3. Suspension of all non-emergency surgeries.
4. Priority should be given to pregnant women & high risk patients like elderly with comorbidities.
5. Virus has been aerosolized! Use mask from now on!
6. SARS-CoV-2 is highly infectious! It's evolving!
7. Young people are not immune!
8. If you don't have PPE, you will be a big carrier of COVID-19 for society and family.
9. Surgical mask is effective along with handwashing.
10. Please avoid gathering!
11. Social distancing still works.
12. Don't overburden yourself and help your colleague!
13. Any patient who comes to you:
Talk from behind the patient. Take precautions for all the patients not only those with respiratory complaints.
14. Flu-like patients can be managed symptomatically at home!
15. Dyspnoea and chest pain with flu is a warning sign!
16. Always examine suspected patients with gloves & PPE.
17. Healthcare providers should avoid close contact with family members for the time being.
18. Use elbow rather than palm wherever you can from greeting to opening the door k**b!
19. Use double plastic for the garbage!
20. 65% Alcohol works!
21. Isolation for symptomatic patients. Quarantine for asymptomatic patients.
22. Community transmission is going on!
23. Be panicked(!) but be prepared!
24. Pray, Pray and Pray!
