On 1st December 2022, 𝐔𝐄 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 arranged its 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 under the supervision of Convener 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐧 and Co-Convener 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐟. The presence of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐬𝐣𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐝 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐪𝐚𝐫 also made this session a lot more productive.
The book of the month was “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫”, a masterpiece of 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐬. He is one of those well-known authors and philosopher who served the reader with the recipe of both literature and Philosophy in one dish. His name comes in the mind of people whenever they read the word Absurdism. The war between religion and Atheism will be incomplete without talking about his works.
Discussion started with recitation and headed toward the hot debate.
Throughout the discussion, participants were in the depth of oceans where they got the precious stones in the form of mind-blowing and most intellectually productive literary ideas.
This insightful learning led to the 𝐐&𝐀 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 and after which worthy vice president of UE Book Reading Club, 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚, concluded and sum up the whole discussion. The students enjoyed the constructive session thoroughly.
“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧.”
A participant summed up the discussion with a beautiful couplet:
حیراں ہے بو علی کہ میں آیا کدھر سے ہوں
رومی یہ سوچتا ہے جاؤں کدھر کو میں
