The GC University, Faisalabad has a long history of excellence and distinction as an institution. The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) proudly honoured 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں طالبات کے لیے ہاسٹل فیس اور میس ووچرز کی آن لائن ادائیگی کا آغاز

گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں طالبات کی سہولت اور ہاسٹل امور میں شفافیت و انتظامی کارکردگی کو مزید بہتر بنانے کے لیے ہاسٹل میس ووچرز اور سمسٹر ہاسٹل فیس کے ووچرز کو آن لائن کر دیا گیا ہے۔ اس اقدام کے تحت ہاسٹلز میں مقیم طالبات موبائل ایپ کے ذریعے اپنے میس اور ہاسٹل فیس ووچرز کی ادائیگی باآسانی آن لائن کر سکیں گی۔

اس سلسلے میں چیئرپرسن ہال کونسلز، گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مریم رحمان نے ہال کونسلز کے انتظامی عملے کے ساتھ ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد کیا، جس میں ہاسٹل میس، ماہانہ اخراجات اور سمسٹر ہاسٹل فیس کی آن لائن ادائیگی کے طریقہ کار کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رؤف اعظم کے وژن کے تحت یونیورسٹی میں مالی و انتظامی امور کو ڈیجیٹل نظام سے ہم آہنگ کرنے کے لیے یہ اہم قدم اٹھایا گیا ہے۔ یونیورسٹی کے خزانہ دار فرحان اقبال اور چیئرپرسن ہال کونسلز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مریم رحمان کی کاوشوں سے ہاسٹل سے متعلق مالی امور کو آن لائن نظام میں منتقل کیا گیا ہے۔

نئے نظام کے تحت طالبات کو ووچرز کے حصول اور ادائیگی کے لیے غیر ضروری دفتری مراحل سے نجات ملے گی، جبکہ ادائیگیوں کا باقاعدہ ڈیجیٹل ریکارڈ خزانہ دار کے دفتر میں محفوظ رہے گا۔ اس سے نہ صرف طالبات کے لیے سہولت پیدا ہوگی بلکہ ہاسٹل انتظامیہ اور متعلقہ دفاتر کے لیے مالی امور کی نگرانی، ریکارڈ کی ترتیب اور شفافیت کو بھی مزید مؤثر بنایا جا سکے گا۔

گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں سیرتِ رسول ﷺ سیمینار

گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں رحمتۃ للعالمین سیرت چیئر اور ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز کے زیرِ اہتمام فاطمہ جناح لائبریری میں سیرت سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔ تقریب کی صدارت ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ اورینٹل لرننگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ہمایوں عباس نے کی۔

وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رؤف اعظم نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ سیرتِ رسولِ اکرم ﷺ نوجوان نسل کے لیے شخصیت، کردار اور مستقبل کی تعمیر کا روشن اور کامل نمونہ ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عصرِ حاضر کے چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے نوجوانوں کو اسوۂ حسنہ ﷺ سے عملی رہنمائی حاصل کرنی چاہیے۔

صدر شعبہ عربی و علومِ اسلامیہ ڈاکٹر یاسر عرفات اعوان نے ’’نسلِ نو کا تحفظ، تعمیر اور کردار‘‘ کے موضوع پر اظہارِ خیال کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ جدید دور کے چیلنجز کے باوجود مسلم نوجوان اپنی دینی و تہذیبی شناخت برقرار رکھتے ہوئے دنیا کے سامنے ایک مثبت مثال بن سکتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے سیرتِ نبوی ﷺ کی روشنی میں نوجوانوں کی عملی تربیت کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر روشنی ڈالی۔

بہاء الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان کی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فریدہ یوسف نے بھی خصوصی شرکت کی اور نوجوانوں کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لیے اسوۂ رسول ﷺ کو عملی زندگی کا حصہ بنانے پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے کردار سازی میں اساتذہ کے مؤثر کردار کو بھی اجاگر کیا۔

اختتامی خطاب میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ہمایوں عباس نے کہا کہ سیرتِ رسول ﷺ کو نئی نسل تک مؤثر انداز میں پہنچانا اور اس کی روشنی میں نوجوانوں کی عملی تربیت وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔ تقریب کے اختتام پر ڈاکٹر حامد رضا نے دعا کرائی، جبکہ نظامت کے فرائض ڈاکٹر ماجد مشتاق نے انجام دئیے۔

پاکستان کے 79 ویں یومِ آزادی پر گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں پرچم کشائی کی پروقار تقریب

گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں 14 اگست 2026ء کو پاکستان کا 79واں یومِ آزادی قومی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ منایا گیا۔ سبز ہلالی پرچم کے سائے تلے فضا پاکستان زندہ باد کے نعروں سے گونج اٹھی۔ یومِ آزادی کے موقع پر پرچم کشائی اور گارڈ آف آنر کی باوقار تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رؤف اعظم نے پرچم کشائی کی۔ قومی ترانہ بلند آواز میں پڑھا گیا اور گارڈز کے چاک و چوبند دستے نے سلامی پیش کی۔ یونیورسٹی ماڈل سکول کے بچوں نے ولولہ انگیز تقریروں اور نصرت فتح علی خان میوزیکل سوسائٹی کے ممبران نے ملی نغموں سے تقریب میں سحر طاری کر دیا۔

جشن آزادی کی تقریب میں یونیورسٹی کے ڈینز، ڈائریکٹرز، رجسٹرار، فیکلٹی ممبران، انتظامیہ طلباء و طالبات اور ننھے بچوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر اپنے خطاب میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رؤف اعظم نے کہا کہ یہ وطن ہمارے بزرگوں کی انتھک کوششوں اور عظیم قربانیوں کے نتیجے میں حاصل ہوا۔ ہمارے لیے باعثِ فخر ہے کہ ہم تعلیم جیسے مقدس پیشے سے وابستہ ہیں اور علم کی شمع روشن کر کے وطنِ عزیز کی خدمت کر رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یومِ آزادی نہ صرف ہماری آزادی کی یاد دہانی ہے بلکہ یہ عزمِ نو کا دن بھی ہے کہ ہم اپنے پیارے پاکستان کو ترقی، خوشحالی اور امن کا گہوارہ بنانے کے لیے ہمیشہ یکجا رہیں گے۔
