🎓 Research & Innovation Spotlight at Department of Textile Engineering, UET Lahore, Faisalabad Campus
The Department of Textile Engineering, UET Lahore, Faisalabad Campus is proud to present it's innovative and IP protected smart textile project entitled as:
"Design and Development of a Smart Textile Vest and other products as an Intelligent Wearable Textile System for Health and Physiological Monitoring"
This innovative project demonstrates the development of an intelligent wearable textile solution capable of real-time physiological and health monitoring. Following products are developed under this project
-Smart textile vest
-Smart heating jacket
-Smart LED light shirt
-Smart heating socks
-Smart cooling jacket
The smart textile vest has been designed to monitor multiple health parameters including: Heart Rate Monitoring, Blood Oxygen Saturation, Body Temperature Monitoring, Motion and Activity Tracking, GPS-Based Location Tracking, air quality index and Real-Time Mobile Application Integration. The indigenously developed system offers significant potential for applications in healthcare, special children care, remote patient monitoring, elderly care, occupational health and safety, emergency response, military personnel monitoring, and sports performance analysis.
This project reflects UET and its textile department commitment to advancing research, fostering innovation, and developing smart textile technologies that contribute to improved healthcare and sustainable technological solutions.
