The FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Science (FAST-NU) holds the honor of being Pakistan’s first multi-campus University chartered by the Federal Government in the private sector. Foundation for Advancement of Science & Technology was established in 1980 as a private national institution, by Justice Akhlaque Hussain, a jurist with a vision and Mr. Later on, Dr. Mahboob-ul-Haq a scholar with the know-how for implementation and establishment of an International level university. Chiniot - Faisalabad is the fifth Campus of the university. There are 4 beautiful campuses in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. The new campus will have more than seven faculties including Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering. New faculties will be added as per need of time. The university will offer bachelors, masters and PhD degree programmes.

Moazam Sultan Shines at Erasmus+ CATCH_VR Summer School 2026!

We are proud to celebrate Moazam Sultan (Batch 2025), BS Computer Science, FAST-NUCES Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, for representing FAST-NUCES at the Erasmus+ CATCH_VR Summer School 2026 – Bootcamp on Immersive Technologies, IoT & Digital Twin, hosted at GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology.

During the 10-day summer school, Moazam gained hands-on experience in Digital Twins, Unity 3D, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Python, AR, and VR while collaborating with a six-member team representing different FAST-NUCES campuses.

Their AI-powered Digital Twin project, developed using Unity, secured the Best Project Award — 1st Position among 160+ participants!

This outstanding achievement reflects innovation, technical excellence, teamwork, and the ability to transform emerging technologies into practical solutions.

FAST-NUCES Chiniot–Faisalabad Campus recently hosted a Faculty & Staff Meeting chaired by Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, Campus Director, bringing together academic and administrative teams to review institutional progress, align strategic priorities, and strengthen educational initiatives.

A warm welcome to the newest members of the FAST-NUCES Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus family!

Orientation Ceremony 2026 (Session 3) brought together students and parents from the BS(CS), MS(CS), and PhD(CS) programs as they took their first step toward an exciting academic journey.

The session featured an inspiring welcome message from Rector Dr. Aftab Ahmad Maroof, followed by a welcome address from Director Campus, Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, who highlighted the academic excellence, values, and opportunities that define life at FAST-NUCES.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Qamar uz Zaman, Head School of Computing, and Dr. Muhammad Fayaz, HoD Computer Science. A warm welcome to the newest members of the FAST-NUCES Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus family!

Orientation Ceremony 2026 (Session 2) brought together students and parents from BS(AI), BS(SE), and MS(DS) programs for an inspiring beginning to their academic journey.

The session featured a motivating video message from Rector Dr. Aftab Ahmad Maroof, followed by a warm welcome address by Director Campus, Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, who highlighted FAST-NUCES’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and holistic student development.

The event was also attended by Dr. Ammar Rafiq, HoD Software Engineering; Dr. Adeel Ashraf Cheema, HoD AI & Data Science; and Dr. Mushtaque Ahmad Sial, HoD Science & Humanities. HoS Dr. Qamar Uz Zaman provided valuable insights into academic life, university regulations, expectations, and opportunities awaiting the students.

The ceremony featured an inspiring welcome message from Rector FAST-NUCES, Dr. Aftab Ahmad Maroof, followed by a heartfelt Welcome Address by Director Campus, Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz. Insightful sessions by Head of School of Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Usama, and HoD (FSM), Dr. Gulfam Haider, provided students and parents with valuable guidance about academic life, university opportunities, and the journey ahead.
