The University of Faisalabad - TUF, Jinnah Wing arranged a spiritually uplifting and heartwarming Grand Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. The gathering brought together faculty members, scholars, and students in an atmosphere filled with love, reverence and devotion for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The blessed program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, beautifully performed by Syed Sulaiman Hassni, a student of BS Cyber Security. Following the recitation, Mubashir Hussain, a PhD Scholar of Islamic Studies, presented a heartfelt Na'at in praise of the beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The formal Mehfil-e-Milad then began with the participation of the Na'at Khawan, Miss Ayesha Batool, who beautifully expressed her devotion through a soulful Na'at. Several other students also had the honor of presenting Na'ats, creating an atmosphere filled with spiritual warmth, devotion and love for the Prophet ﷺ.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, Prof. Dr. Matloob Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, who attended as the Guest of Honor and Prof. Dr. Majid Hussain, as the Chief Guest. including Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Raza-ul-Habib from the Department of Islamic Studies.
The Guest Speaker, Dr. Farhan Akhtar, Assistant Professor at Dar-ul-Madina International University Islamabad delivered an insightful and meaningful speech highlighting the blessed life, character, teachings and noble Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. His detailed and thought-provoking address emphasized the importance of following the Sunnah and incorporating the beautiful teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ into our personal and social lives.
At the conclusion of the Mehfil, Prof. Dr. Matloob Ahmad presented concluding remarks and expressed his appreciation for the organizers, scholars, faculty members and students for making the gathering meaningful and memorable.
The program concluded with Salam, followed by a heartfelt Dua for the unity, peace, prosperity, and well-being of the Muslim Ummah and the entire nation.
It was truly a beautiful and spiritually enriching gathering—a memorable celebration of the blessed birth of the Mercy for the Worlds, the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
May Allah Almighty accept the efforts of everyone who contributed to this blessed occasion and grant us the strength to follow the noble path of our beloved Holy Prophet ﷺ. Ameen.
