National Textile University (NTU) made a lasting impact at 5th International Textile Exhibition TEXPO 2024, held from October 23 to 25, 2024 at the Karachi Expo Center. The event organized by the ORIC departments of NTU Faisalabad and NTU Karachi Campus, brought Pakistan’s textile innovations to the forefront, attracting a diverse array of national and international visitors, including key industry delegations captivated by NTU's advancements in textile design, sustainability, and technology. Muhammad Waqas, Deputy Director ORIC Industrial Liaison, Engr. Muhammad Haroon Shoukat and Muhammad Asif Saleem led the NTU team, emphasizing the university’s commitment to industry-academia collaboration.
On the sideline NTU ORIC showcase the product developments, Testing and consultancy facilities at National Textile Research Center – NTU Faisalabad.

“Elevate” Professional Certification Program by ORIC has organized two days training on “Module S1: Implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in Testing Laboratories” from February 27 - 28, 2024.
Dr. Ahsan Nazir was the resource person of this training. The training program enabled the participants to comply with the ISO testing protocol and laboratory management approaches which are mandatory for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.

The first, second and third designs of each denomination will be given the prize of
