Recruitment drive at GPI Haripur by StormFiber/Cybernet
Under the leadership of the Respected Managing Director, KP-TEVTA, Mr. Mian Abdul Qadir Shah, and following a series of meetings and follow-ups by Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed, Principal, Government Polytechnic Institute (GPI) Haripur, and Abdus Samad Khan, VC&JP Officer (Job Placement), KP-TEVTA, Haripur Region, with StormFiber Haripur, we are pleased to share that a recruitment drive was successfully organized at GPI Haripur in collaboration with StormFiber/Cybernet.
The recruitment panel comprised Mr. Ansar Khan, Operations Head, StormFiber, Mr. Nouman Tariq, HR Manager, Cybernet, Islamabad, along with a Technical Officer from the company.
The company representatives were warmly welcomed at GPI Haripur by the Principal and VC&JP Officer and were subsequently taken to the candidates’ waiting area, where the participating candidates were addressed by the Principal GPI Haripur, Mr. Ansar Khan and Mr. Nouman Tariq. Mr. Atif Jan, VC&JP Officer, Mansehra Region, was also present to facilitate the recruitment activity.
The recruitment was conducted for Cable Technician and Field Technician positions. Candidates holding DAE Electrical, DAE Telecommunication and DAE Electronics qualifications participated in the interviews.
The intensive interview session continued for approximately four hours at the office of the VC&JP Officer, providing candidates with an opportunity to directly engage with industry representatives. The recruitment team also collected candidates’ profiles and information for consideration in future employment opportunities.
The event concluded with a meeting in the Principal’s Office, followed by an exchange of souvenirs as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill.
GPI Haripur under the leadership of respected MD KP-TEVTA continues to strengthen industry–institute linkages by creating direct pathways from technical education to employment opportunities for its graduates.
