Orientation Session for Fall 2025 Students
The Department of Biology, University of Haripur, successfully organized its Orientation Session for Fall 2025 intake to welcome newly admitted students into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The session lead by Dr. Wajeeha Saeed commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. The event brought together faculty members, administrative staff, and enthusiastic new students eager to begin their academic journey.
In her welcome address, Dr. Asma ul Husna, Head of the Department of Biology, highlighted the department’s commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and student development. She encouraged the students to actively participate in both curricular and co-curricular activities to make the most of their university life.
Prof. Dr. Azizullah, Dean of the Faculty of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and research-led learning. He assured students of the faculty’s full support in helping them achieve their academic and professional goals.
The session also included an introduction to the department’s academic programs, research facilities, and student support services. Faculty members were introduced to the students, providing an opportunity to foster interaction and build connections from the outset.
The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students shared their expectations and received valuable guidance for navigating university life.
