Kashmir Solidarity Day was solemnly and passionately observed at Government Post Graduate College Haripur to reaffirm unwavering support for the just cause of our Kashmiri brethren. The event reflected collective resolve, empathy, and solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
In this connection, an intracollegiate debate competition was organized, providing students a vibrant platform to voice their perspectives. The program commenced with Tilawat-e-Qur’an, Naat, and the National Anthem, setting a dignified and patriotic tone. The Focal Person CBS Prof Jamil Hussain warmly welcomed the participants and highlighted the historical significance and moral importance of observing Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Students from various departments actively participated and spoke eloquently for and against the motion, expressing deep concern over the prolonged suffering of Kashmiris, the continued passivity of UN resolutions, and the silence of the international community. Their speeches were marked by passion, clarity, and a strong sense of justice, encouraging the brave people of Kashmir and reaffirming national commitment to their cause.
The worthy Principal, Prof. Zulfiqar Ali, addressed the gathering and emphasized Pakistan’s principled stance on Kashmir, urging students to remain informed, vocal, and committed to peaceful advocacy. The event was attended by Heads of Departments, faculty members, and a large number of students, making it a truly collective observance.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice President CBS, Musawar Shah. The Debating Club, headed by Prof. Muhammad Amir, deserves special appreciation for making excellent arrangements and ensuring the success of the program.
The enthusiasm, awareness, and solidarity shown by the students were truly inspiring, reaffirming that the voice for Kashmir remains alive, strong, and resolute.
